I really don't understand why hudcons/"fans of both" in this fandom are under the impression that majority of Hudson's fans are bothered by him being friends with Connor. We really don't care because Hudson is the one we're a fan of. Just because hudcons crash out any time Hudson is seen with people they don't like (said people being his girlfriend, his friends, his family, and his team), they seem to think that's how "solos" feel too. And that's simply not the case.
Most of us "solos" have no trouble understanding that Hudson is his own autonomous person and that we have no say in personal life. Who he hangs out with and is friends with is entirely his business, not ours. And just like he has his own thoughts, we have our own, and we understand that these things can coexist. Like actually yes, people can be normal about Hudson hanging out with Connor even if they don't like Connor. Because, again, we understand how we feel has nothing to do with how Hudson feels and it has no impact on him whatsoever.
Grown ass adults are really trying to make it seem like people are being juvenile for not sharing the same feelings as an actor. It boggles their mind that people can be a fan of Hudson and not share the same sentiments he has towards Connor. It really makes me wonder if they just blindly like everything their other favs likes. Have they ever tried having a mind of their own.
I'm just genuinely tired of people being so incredibly disingenuous about which faction of this fandom claims that Hudson hates Connor and which faction crashes out over them being friends. Cause I promise you, majority of those people are not the ones who actually pay attention to what Hudson says in his interviews.
