Question For Everyone

why are origin stories so important? i understand why there interesting, but when watching movies it looks like everyone thinks you need to explain everything about every character before you can get to the meaty plot. then there are movies with most of the plot being the origin story. super hero movie do this a lot but even movies that arn’t even action flicks do this. at the beginning of movies there’s dialogue or actions that set key character traits that those characters follow for the rest of the movie. or if those traits are broken, its something the character has to over come or a they become a better person because of some lesson they’ve learned.

now i’m not saying there’s anything wrong with this type of story telling, but i’m kinda tired of watching a movie and five minutes in thinking “oh, that’s the funny one, that’s the serious one, that’s the blah blah blah.” i just think there might be a different way of story telling.

not sure what that would be but... yeah..

so just about everything in my life went to shit so rapidly that i’m probably going to have to get a plumber to unclog my toilet. despite my play on word’s joking nature its actually quite hard for me to cope with stuff right now

What i want to do with this is go against the grain a little more then i do with other comics. the main characters will be in a cartoonish sketchy style while the rest of the world will be in a multitude of styles. i think it’ll look interesting enough. it’ll be on my deviant art when its done. I keep having dreams (mostly unrelated to each other) where one punch man is trying to kill me. And its not an epic fight or anything, he's walking toward me slowly with a menacing look on his face and he corners me. Right as he's closing in on me I wake up... I don't even watch one punch man.

Myron has a pet pit bull terrier named Bandit (since the dog has the bandit fur pattern and is white and brown). Unlike his owner, Bandit is the sweetest thing ever. He would probably lick you to death before ever attacking you.
