I mean if you have a pretty good idea of what is destroying the things you care about, you could aim to fight back against it in whatever way seems even remotely approachable, OR you could choose the vastly superior option of trying to forget about it and just waiting in bed to die

dont really get that faith in hard reality but then I seem to have ended up with a life where it doesnt really matter whether I believe in anything or not
