part 1 - when i fell for him

(December)

dec 12th. feelings had been building up for long. first thing i fell for was how academically smart he is. intelligent as fuc-... um okay so i didn't tell a soul. thought it was one sided, was happy to keep it that way.

(January)

texting way more. almost everyday. i'm compromising my study time just to keep chatting. mixed signals. i keep thinking he likes me. but not sure. no one knows still

(end of February - mid of March)

things start getting complicated. we start an internship as a part of our curriculum (16 of us from our class... for 15 days). close proximity everyday for 2 weeks = more intense feelings from my side. still don't know about his pov. mutual friend R tells me they all ship him (now lets call him M) and this girl (H) together. im kinda devastated (dramatic but really). i keep hoping he'll make things clear but soon i start noticing things i hadn't before... M and H being everywhere together, sitting in close proximity, etc etc... M was still giving me mixed singals tho, so i kept my hopes up

it was during this time period that one day i spent around an hour crying over him, btw :)

part 2 - distance... and fading feelings?

(end of March - mid May)

exams approached. no time to text. some sort of distance was created, mostly triggered by how torn i was about him and H. i kept thinking i was stepping into the middle of smth and wanted to forget him.

(later half of May)

exams over. mom had been suspecting for a long time that smth was up with me. cleared everything with her after a long chat. someway, my feelings had completely turned off(?) one morning i couldn't think of anything else other than him and the next dya boom! he's completely gone out of my mind. weird (my brain works in weird ways lol but all for good i know now). then i realised that he was definitely not a good choice for me, so i started moving on

part 3 - gossips, stories and fake stuffs

(June)

clg began (first with online classes, then progressed to offline classes). i came to know something had happened between M and H. maybe some argument? some kind of awkwardness had been formed in our friend (me, S, R, M and H). it was common knowledge to everyone by then that M and H are being shipped and that there's something wrong between the two of them

meanwhile (AND THIS IS SHOCKING)...........

my other friend T tells me that she heard me and M were being shipped together. i was like WHAT- . not because i wasn't over him (i was) but because i never thought he liked me.

and then i went on to tell everything about my feelings, the internship dynamic etc to T (my advice to yall, don't overshare pls)

(Today - june 24th)

M and i attend the same tuition together. he seemed a lil sad today. we are still friends because he doens't know i liked him so yeahh. then what he said to me kinda blew my mind

he and H had been oversharing in chat. not in a romantic way, because he already had a girlfriend of 6 years (but they broke up during internship). H somehow took M's texts (idk what they were) in an exaggerated way and thought he was asking her to be friends with benefits. she spilled this to the entire class.

how did i fit into this shipping dynamic? --- well,.., M said he had told H in chat that he admired me a lot because of how much i study (lmfao). somoehow that turned into us being shipped.

M clarified he never had any feelings for either me or H (i don't know for sure if it's true but okie, we'll just go with it).

and now the whole class sort of hates M and that there was a lot of drama in class today ( i dont know, i ditched classes today)

points i need to remember:

i only know M's pov on a firsthand basis. H didn't tell me a lot about this argument, so idk about the FWB sutff and i don't wanna make assumptions only on the basis of one person's story. i just need to be left out of all this drama for once and for all because remember all that whining and pining and my depressed ass a few months back because of this guy? yeah, i genuinely don't want that anymore.

soooo yeahhh storytime ends here, um ty for listening <3 will update with more incoming drama next week (hopefully all will be okay and the whole class will be friends again)
