what absolutely makes the end of brand new day for me, with ned remembering and recognizing peter, is that … it’s so in character. like jean says it earlier, mj would be sick at the idea of a perfect fairytale kiss waking the princess up ooh so cute BLEGH!! she would hate that. ned, on the other hand? ned would LOVE the idea that they broke the spell and got his memories back by doing their super special best friend handshake, ned would love the whole fairytale magical remembering thing, he would just be all over that.

what gets me about the padawan haircut is that there was absolutely no precedent for it in the original trilogy which means that george lucas just wanted to do that to ewan mcgregor

if you zoom in on ned then spider-man brand new day is literally like what if you felt your heart reaching out for another person so fondly and fiercely that you build an app that connects millions of people just so you can know where he's been and you want to find out who he is behind his many masks just so you can say thank you (and be safe and i love you) and you have a secret handshake in the well of your memory and a lego figurine on your desk and there's another aspect of those memories that your mind can't really hold onto but you keep trying to build a life around those empty spaces and then one day you're eating a sandwich and a man tells you his name and oh.... how could you ever have forgotten your best friend?

if anyone ever broached the idea of buck being in love with eddie TO eddie but they do it with the implication that they’re not sure if eddie feels the same. eddie would be SO offended on buck’s behalf. he’d be like buck is great!! and handsome!! and a good firefighter!! and a great partner!! and a better co-parent!! so the other person is like damn okay fine i guess you’re in love with him too sorry. and eddie’s yeah that’s what i thought. wait.
