Blue Rose Cupcake!

My name is Kathy, I'm a 32 year old female living in Northern Ontario! I've always wondered what my calling was, what I was going to be when I grow up. It took me to the age of 26 to figure it out. I went to Micheal's one day (the craft store) I notice a sign that said "Cake Decorating Classes" This caught my attention, so I signed up for my first class. First day we made royal icing roses, I aced it & I fell in love, I knew this was something I wanted to do more of. I ended up taking 3 of the classes, I never did the 4th. I started making cakes for my close family & friends, they LOVED them, said how amazing & pretty they are. They kept telling me to open my own business, hand out cards, make them for other people. Truth was, I was scared & nervous. My sister owns her own business (shes a photographer) I look up to her, watching her business grow, knowing I could do that with my cakes, but my fear always got the best of me. WELL, that's all done now!!! I'm here to post my cakes, get some tips and send some tips out there to the interwebz! I started my own business, it's really new....I'm talking a week old. It's just a baby business now & I'm not going to let my fear get in my way anymore. Welcome to my blog, welcome to my world of Pretty Cakes.
