As I clean my kitchen table, I mess up my kitchen table....

Because the table was clean yesterday, it only takes a few minutes to reclaim the table!!!

This is how my morning started. I have looked at this mess for a long time. Today, I decided to feel productive and change this!! 

It took me less than 10 minutes to address the mess. Now, I actually have a place to fold my clean clothes before putting them away. 

Since cleaning off the table, I have eaten every meal at this table. Feels good!

It has been a long time since I attempted to blog. I’m back!!

My goal is PROGRESS! It seems I am capable of helping others, but don’t seem to be able to do the same for myself. 

I must be crazy! New appliances means new floor?

This is my first time installing flooring alone. I’m doing all the measurements and cutting myself!

Cleaning.

Decluttering.

I’ve decluttered and removed the shelf. I still need to patch the holes in the wall. Hopefully, I can replace it once the new appliances are in place. 🤞🏾

I may not have been as busy decluttering as I should have been. But I have done something.

Folding clothes.

Cleaning the laundry area.

Buying new a washer & dryer??

I’m making progress...

Bathroom clutter: clothes I wore y’day.

This has been in the dryer for 2 days....still struggling with the laundry.

The better I think I’m doing, the more I struggle with the laundry.

It took time, but it was well worth it!!

This is after several non-consecutive days of work.

A work in progress...need chairs to sit.

Is that a real question? Of course it is...when your dining area looks like this: 

This was a few months ago! I have done some work, but not much. 

Several weeks ago, I asked a friend to help me with my house. I told her to look at her schedule and we will figure out when we’d both be home to work on decluttering my house. 

I thought we would have worked on at least one room by now, but our schedules did not make that a reality. So, today, I asked again. I showed her this picture:  

I told her to come whenever she was ready. She didn’t have to call. I just want help in getting things out of my house. 

For the last several weeks, I felt like I am stagnating. I’m not progressing. I may be digressing. Unfortunately, I need help kickstarting my progression. 

Is this the best I can do? Probably not, but at least I am doing. Can I do better? Absolutely! Friends ask friends for help.
