inexperienced!clark who's never really flirted before you. it's not like he wasn't interested in women, and he had tried to talk to them (keyword being 'try'), but every time he got a little flustered, he just seemed to turn into a stuttering, blushing idiot. so when you, the woman he'd been clearly crushing on for months, start shamelessly flirting with the 6'4 man at the water cooler in your office, it doesn't take much for his heart to start racing.

"so, clark, i was wondering if you were doing anything this friday?"

"oh- uh, gosh! i uh, no, no i'm not, " he chuckles, trying to contain himself and act suave. "i'm free. on friday." he runs his hands through his combed hair. pull it together, clark! he thinks to himself. "do you want to, uhm, would you like to do something? out? with me? would you like to go out with me?"

you pause for a minute, holding back the smile; "yeah," you laugh a little "i'd like that"

"dudee, what was that for??!" adrian says with a grimace.

"you're such a fucking idiot, man-" ...

"-what i was trying to ask you, is why the hell are you listening to fucking olivia rodrigo right now like a 13 year old girl?"

"adrian listens to olivia rodrigo??" economos chimes in from across the room, laughing.

"for the record, my girlfriend showed me this song, and it's great." adrian crosses his arms, smiling.

"oh yeah, your super hot girlfriend none of us have ever met, right, man, for sure..." wait a second. was peacemaker making fun of him?? no way, his girlfriend is super hot! and none of them have ever met her! and peacemaker is his best friend!! he's just stating random facts. god, chris is SO funny.

"..yes!"

"chris, go the fuck back to work!" emelia yells at him, quickly growing aggravated at how distracted everyone had become by his little spectacle.

"yeah, okay" chris mutters, like a dog retreating to its corner.

introducing violet!reader and how she met adrian

violet!reader finding out adrian is vigilante

reader introducing adrian to olivia rodrigo... and the 11th street kids finding out

her parents didn't have a great marriage, so she hates yelling because she grew up around it constantly. so if shes having an argument with adrian (rare because he's whipped) and he makes the mistake of yelling and her she is instantly crying—and then feeling bad about crying. also prioritizes date nights a lot (they both became AMC A-list members because they go on movie dates often). communication is very important to her, so when adrian has to lie to her when he's out doing vigilante stuff (surprisingly, he's not a good liar for a secret crime-fighting vigilante) it makes her spiral.

she does figure his secret out eventually, but doesn't tell him she knows. he doesn't find that out until he's kidnapped in some criminals basement and she uses her nancy drew detective skills from the fourth grade to figure out where he is, find a shotgun from his many (badly hidden) weapon stashes, and break him free. then they're trying to get out of the area as fast as they can and shes crying because he "totally ruined her night routine" and he "knows how seriously she takes that!". adrian just is trying to fight the tent in his pants after seeing her swoop in and beat a grown man's ass.

she grew up in gotham, so she's expeirienced her fair share of crime- you know, your kidnappings, your secret identities and night-stalking vigilantes and such. she doesn't mind that he's vigilante, she's not going to ask him to stop because she knows him. even though part of her understands why he kept it from her, what urged her to put a wall up was how long he continually lied to her.

note: i need to give her some kinda name not a literal name but something cute idk because its too clunky + feel free to send ideas for more blurbs about adrian and or weird-girl!reader

she's very much so a homebody/an introvert. doesn't really like meeting new people, but if she meets n likes you, she will become attached to you at the hip (similar to adrian) moved to evergreen for a fresh start.

didn't have many friends growing up, so she got comfortable being alone, and thinks the best type of bonding is 'being alone together'. spends a lot of time alone baking, doodling, learning instruments, and trying to occupy her time in a way that's good for her brain since she knows herself WELL and doesn't want to fall into bad patterns. this ends up with her having more drawings, crocheted plushies, baked goods and a bunch of other "clutter" than she knows what to do with.

she loves getting her nails done but hates the way it tips/long nails feel and always rips them off after 24 hours MAX, so she settles for always having a gel polish, usually a sparkly darkish color, maybe a navy blue or purple? she eventually learned to do gel manicures on herself and lovesss doing cute nail art, has a whole drawer of stickers n charms n stuff

makes a lot of diy accessories and can thrift for hours if she has her headphones charged,,, she might seem intimidating by looking at her because she has every depop girly's dream wardrobe but is actually just very shy!!

she met adrian working at fennel fields, but was too nervous to socialize with him (or anybody else) there. then questions why she took a customer service job. eventually becomes friends with Adrian, little by little, because they realized they had a lot in common!! they start carpooling to work,, and then back,, and then hes letting her buy hello kitty adventure island on his switch cause she doesnt have one and she teaching him how to cook without burning the kitchen down. it all happens very gradually and i dont think they really realize whats happening until theyre having sex lol. even after that, it takes a while for them to have the "what are we" talk because theyre just like. best friends who don't really ever want to see anyone else and are also having crazy monkey sex all the time.

once they become official, though, adrian weirdly reeeallly likes saying "my girlfriend" because I dont think he's ever had a girlfriend before. like youre ordering at a coffee shop and he's like "and my girlfriend will have a frappuccino" with that stupid grin and you're like actually i wanted a latte but thanks for the effort
