Summary: Y/N sees a guy flirting with different women every night and watches him for fun because his flirting is terrible. What happens when he flirts with her?
“I’ve seen you here before…” you hear a voice say as they take a seat next to you at the bar. As you turn your head to see who it is, you notice it’s the pretty, blue-eyed guy you’ve been watching for the past few weeks. Honestly, you hadn’t meant to watch him at first, but when you heard him talking to the woman he was flirting with you just couldn’t help but listen in… You had to see where things went. Then the next night you noticed he came back in without the woman, so you paid attention to him as he was hitting on another woman. You shake your head as you remembered all the nights you watched him.
“Yea,” you laughed, making him smile. “I come here pretty regularly.”
“So do I,” he said as he watched you with a smile. “My name is Carter.” You looked over his features trying to read if he was playing you.
“Yes… I know…” you say slowly as he tilts his head.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he half laughs. You smile as you look down at the table before you look back up at him.
“I’ve seen you in here… I know you hit on a different woman every night… and believe me when I say… The way you flirt is shameful,” your voice dripping with disdain. You stand from your seat and make your way to the bathroom, secretly hoping he would leave your table before you return. You poke your head out the door to see him still sitting there, so you quietly make your way to the bar and pay your tab. Just as he turns his head and sees you at the bar, you turn and make your way out the door. By the time he’s coming out the door to catch you, you’re already in a cab and pulling away. You had him stumped… Normally women fell at his feet, but not you… you just cut him down and took off. He was intrigued to say the least, but when you didn’t come back to the bar for the next week, he was truly disappointed. The next night, he decided to try a new bar his friends told him about, closer to his house. After an hour of drinks and people watching, who does he see walk in but you. His face broke into a wide smile as he watches you and your friend walk to the bar and order a drink before taking it to a table across the room from him. As you and your friend sipped on your drinks and talked about your days, he could do nothing but smile. He had found you again… and completely by accident. He waited for your friend to leave the table before he made his approach.
“Well, there’s my mystery girl… I’ve been wondering where you got to,” Carter says as he takes your friend’s seat across from you, smiling wide.
