Meet Iska Dhaaf, your new favorite Sufi poetry-inspired, hyper melodic, and totally infectious band.  The Seattle based duo, Nathan Quiroga and Benjamin Verdoes, have been on the rise for a minute now and their latest video for “Everybody Knows” locks them firmly in the ones-to-watch-and-love category.  Directed by Tristan Seniuk, it’s filled to the brim with Seattle music scene cameos- Macklemore included- it’s a dark, trippy homage to the Francis Ford Coppola classic, Apocalypse Now.  Marilyn Monroe look a likes, a golf club swinging Macklemore, lots of cigarettes and a few twitchy soldiers make this rich cinematic effort this week’s (if not month’s) obsession.  Their debut LP comes out March 11, so keep your eyes and ears peeled.
