Adrian

Yue had come to get Lavinia not much after the alarms and sirens started blaring, which left Adrian alone and for a moment he did think about staying on his seat, letting the flames consume him until nothing more hurt. But then it was like there was a light at the end of the tunnel, the void left by his brother filling up, helping him get to his feet.

The vampire was still a bit wobbly, but he did drag two people with him as he left the room, the people too panicked to have made their own legs. But that was all he did, slumping against a parked car nearby as he watched everyone work. Did that mean...?

Agata

ft. Ryder ( @bxdybcg ) and Emma ( @lambxtoxslaughter )

The sirens were louder than the speakers at the club, and they made Agata anxious, even if she had happened to make a fire drill before, it had been fake. This one was very real, and she didn’t even know what the problem was. She tried to see where her roommates were before Ryder was at her side, her breath still caught on her throat even if she followed him outside, Emma holding on to his back.

He left the two of them alone to go to his fellow firefighters, and Agata, teary eyed, let herself fall and hug Emma. That was until someone looked at them quickly and then asked the two of them to help grab as many supplies from the surrounding stores as possible.

Alexia

ft. Nadia and Melina ( @bxdybcg )

It had happened in the blink of her eyes, being picked up by Nadia and suddenly finding herself on the asphalt of the street, her date already near Selenia, ready to ask what she should do. It was like a blast from the past, which was even more of a reason for Alexia to get her phone out, speak with Melina and make sure she gathered the best healers and salve makers they had before she returned to the place.

Call over, Alexia went towards the paramedics that were arriving at the scene. It had been seventy years since she had been in the middle of a war, but she still knew how to take care of people.

Bea

Beatrice didn’t know if it was an alert sent to all of the elders, but she knew that Fernando had gotten one. Bombs. Someone had set bombs at the cocktail party that continued even when they had left. She made sure to drive the faster she could while still keeping her boss secure, wanting to get into the scene and be able to help as much as possible.

As soon as they were parked, Bea turned to Fernando “If you don’t mind, Sir, I’m going to see where I’m needed the most. I hope you will be safe for at least a few hours without me guarding you?” a nod of approval was given by her boss, before Beatrice was out, not even locking the car behind her.

Cass

She hadn’t been the one to set up whatever that was. Because the sprinkler system hadn’t been set off, Cass thought that there hadn’t been anything set on the floor they were on. But she certainly wasn’t going to stay and be the curious person that lost their lives in the fucking mess. The blonde elbowed some people who didn’t seem to let her pass, groaning and panting by the time she was on the street. Her outfit ruined by people that at tried to grab at her and that she had to elbow and kick off.

One last look at the building and she was turning with a fuck it, she was going home and get a good bath, that was what she was going to do. Elias was a big vampire, he could get his ass out of there.

Leander

It was like a switch had been turned on his brain the moment the alarms went off. He picked up Ava, which was an easy feat due to her being small and light, making his way down towards the street, leaving her with some people who looked like they were giving first aid. After assuring her safety, Leander was running back towards the building, already hearing the sirens of his coworkers that had stayed behind at the station. Good, he would be getting his fire gear on and then helping with the fire that had started to sprout from the windows.

Michael

While Francisco had gone away with Fernando and Melina, Michael decided to stay behind, as a sort of symbol for the Estrella coven having into account he was the second in command. And the second, the lights changed to red and the sirens blared, he was reaching for his phone, calling Francisco to warn him of what was happening at the locale.

Now on the street, he looked around before he found the firemen, running towards them to know where he could help, after all, fire was his element, and he could have somewhat of a control over it. It’d leave him bed ridden for a day or two, but saving lives was more important than any negative effects.

Nate

He was fucking useless. Someone had to save him after he inhaled some of the smoke coming from the lower floors, oxygen mask tight on his face as he recuperated in one of the EMT ambulances that had come to help everyone. He didn’t even know where his wife was, fuck, what kind of husband was he? A shitty one that was for certain, one that couldn’t even save himself and now was waiting for other people to find his wife and hoping that she wasn’t harmed.

“That would seem suspicious.” Leaning in close, he whispered quietly. “And we’re in a room with police officers. Maybe keep the kill talk to home.” He added quietly, shooting daggers at his brother. They did not need extra looks. “At least I don’t just have progenies who hate me. Got one yet who actually returns home occasionally yet?” 

“Hmmm. Wouldn’t you like to know?” He chuckled, not ready to go into full detail about what just had happened. Or even think about it. Sex with the ex – well, hopefully it would provide him the closure that he needed in order to move on. “Thank you. That was just last minute luck,” and it was.

"This is much more you." so much that Bea stuck out like a sore thumb on Panda's flat. With her leather pants, tank top and combat boots, no one would have guessed that her best friend would be one of the top cam girls. Or that she had come here to help build the armoire that her friend had bought for the toys "The place, I mean." she continued reading the instructions and looking at the wood, feeling like she should know what to do "I like it."

Leon knew that Daria had a lot on her plate right now and that performance by a fellow gang leader… Did not fill Leon with the greatest of confidence. It was an actual farce and Leon was not going to allow something like this to happen again. He was not amused to say the least. The gang in itself was not something that Leon found particularly useful. Though it did mean that he had more power in terms of running the districts. So long as Greshniki behaved though the flact Elias went for mayor did not escape his notice either but he had informants telling him that Daria had already spoke to him. His men stayed by his side making the scene that much more intimidating. “Nathaniel,” calling him by his full name. “What makes you think that the way we run this district is a joke?” He asked calmly. Leon’s anger was not a flame, it was a block of ice. Ice can burn too.

Big bodyguards, someone who could pretty much be summed as the king of werewolves as he had married the queen. Nate couldn't even think of not going to such a summons, even if he was aware that it wasn't a friendly one. And yeah, his anxiety was raising, constricting his chest and making it even more difficult to remain calm in front of Leon. Fuck, that man was intimidating. "I don't think the way you run the district is a joke." ok, yes, that wasn't a good start "I just wanted to do something nice? And yeah, it went wrong and I might have been seen in a not such good manner, but I couldn't really help it… you know?"

There was an interesting edge to the city recently, between the continuing mystery of the murders, people dropping like flies from different causes, and the election running alongside all of that. Will considered himself lucky in most regards - he didn’t have to worry too much, closely enough related to the main branch of their family to fall under their protection, but not directly related - he voted for Lazar, he stayed in his studio most days, and on nights like this, when he went out, he didn’t think to watch his back. So the feeling of a girls eyes on him didn’t register, and the first time Will became aware of her was when she stumbled straight into his chest, sending some of her drink splashing against the side of his ribs, soaking through the thin shirt he had been wearing. “Fuck, you alright?” He asked in concern, automatically reaching out to steady the other, hands grasping her upper arms with a laugh. “Oh, please, don’t worry about it. They’re very nice shoes, and I was going to find a excuse to take this shirt off once I was past the bouncers anyways.” He laughed, waving the incident off easily. 

Cass laughed alongside him, the lights from the club helping hide just how sharp her eyes were. So she had evaluated him more than correctly. Her eye for the pretty ones was always sharp, and if he was completely fine with taking off his shirt, he'd be completely fine entertainment for her. "Oh, but you must allow me to pay you a drink." Cass blinked her pretty eyes at him "It's the least I can do after ruining your shirt, even if I would love to see what's underneath." she smiled cutely at him, before tugging on his arm "My name is Cass, what's yours? I feel like I should know the name of the guy I'm buying a drink for."

Ava hadn’t exactly planned to bid on someone that day - her bid was placed impulsively, and she had been expecting to be outbid before the auction closed. Yet here she was, with a very handsome firefighter as her company for the evening. “Well, it is for a good cause, I was happy to donate. I hope I’m not taking you away from anyone else for the evening - it seemed that others wanted someone specific to win their bids - sorry if you had something lined up with someone else.”

Leander shook his head with a chuckle "Actually, I was worried no one would bid on me. I mean, Alyssa did, but I think she felt like she had to because she owed me a coffee for a favor I did to her." which in his mind didn't really need to be repaid, but he knew that someone people needed to have that action "I just hope I'm good enough company for you." He offered his hand "You probably already know but I'm Leander Miros, it's nice to meet you."

“I’m not looking for a booty call.” Somehow that was laughable. But for whatever reason, she really wasn’t. And she wasn’t going to offer it either. “I’m here to… uhh… listen? I heard about Cayden. I’m sorry about that.”

Adrian finished his whiskey with a swig and nodded to the bartender to get another, Talk, yeah, that's not really something that he did with most people. But his confident was connected to machines at this moment "Yeah, who would have guessed. Cayden." his finished the second whiskey way too quickly, he had already gotten used to the burn. "If I could, I'd trade places with him. He deserves to be here more than I do."

“Ever thought of like… Your mother might having someone on the side. Maybe your other siblings aren’t all as much your siblings either,” Lykon suggested with a nonchalant shrug. “You know, I got the best nose in this city. You can trust me on that.”

"My mother is dead. Can you not misspeak of her?" Sage couldn't believe on what she was hearing, why did they always have to go for the good ones? She could bet Si had like a million skeletons on his closet "Please, when it comes to scent we all know werewolves are the best."

“I think your missing the point it’s not a charade… I can smell him from here. How about I just go over there myself and show you”

Evelyn had felt it. The pain of her progeny. Of course, not quite as extreme as him, but the bond was still there. And most of all, she’d wanted to be there. To rush to his side, to hold him, to make sure everything would be fine. But she couldn’t. She had a job to do, a sire to help herself, with all their projects and jobs, as well as herself. So she’d had to refrain. But still, her heart ached for the man she’d cared enough for, loved enough, that she’d sired him. 

So when he rejected her without even looking up at her? A small ‘ehem’ came from her, before she took the seat next to him without waiting for an apology. It wasn’t something to expect when he was this down. When he felt better though? He might get a small scolding from her. Damn men. Raised with the audacity of being allowed to demand space that wasn’t theirs. 

But again, that was not the fight of today. Today, today Adrian had a different need. “You could have called me, you know?” Words gentle, hand softly brushing over his shoulders. “How can I help, Adrian?”

Wow, his senses were really dulled by the alcohol, weren't they? Adrian looked at the bottle of tequila before looking at his sire "Eve." it was almost a breath, and then it was a sob given as he leaned against her, searched for comfort on one the few people that he would ever allow to see him so low. She had been his everything back in the day, and they still had the bond between them, connecting them in a way that would be impossible to break.

She had saved his life, literally. And they loved each other, not the fire that burned, but the embers that stayed for life. Friendship was a rare thing to find that went so deep, but he was actually glad she had searched for him. That she had found him. "I wished it was me instead of Cay." it was almost a hush, a low whisper that could lost to the wind as he settled closer to the woman.

He'd seen his grandfather as it was. It wasn't the first time, even if his blue eyes took a while to focus on his frame in front of him. Did Adrian need more booze? A blink and a look at the bottle of tequila he was holding, not even the fire of the alcohol could burn the bitterness inside of him. The hurt and pain.

Adrian threw the bottle towards the lamp post, instead, it hit a tree. The effect was the exact same - it broke into smaller pieces. Ah yes, now it felt like the tequila understood him. Vessel broken beyond repair because his brother, his progeny, his twin was in a coma he may very well not survive from. And he was left behind, selfishly wishing for him to wake up, fuck the consequences. The doctors said that he may very well be in a vegetative state forever having into account how much of his brain had been damaged.

"Why? I'm not your progeny, I'm Eve's." finally, Adrian looked at his grandsire "Why would you care about me?"

"He's the responsible one." two hands went to his head, which shook before he was taking a swig of his bottle of tequila, if Andreas wanted to give him company, well, maybe it was better if it wasn't a silent one. He had enough of that when he visited his brother. Another pang on his chest "Aren't the responsible ones the ones supposed to keep out of the hospital?" not that Adrian had gone there that many times.

There had been that one time for a cracked skull after a bar fight went really wrong, the docs had to puzzle piece it together before he regenerated it very wrongly. Couldn't really spend the rest of his days with a mishapen head, that was for sure.

And Cay had been there through it all. And now what was Adrian doing instead of being next to his brother? Being in a random park bench, body full of alcohol until he almost felt his liver shrink from inside his body. He visited Cay, it wasn't like he didn't go there every single day, because Adrian did visit his brother every single day. But staying was too much, watching as he was supported by an iv drip of blood ( not even his favorite type ) and machines. There was still hope, that had been said to him, but Cayden looked more dead than undead to him. And that brought with it feelings that had him clinging to his throat.

Maybe if he screamed out loud, the knot would finally disappear.

He finished the bottle of tequila on the next go, using the back of his hand to wipe his mouth before he was reaching for another "Suit yourself. I'm the worst company you could have, especially when you have that pretty blonde to look after."

“Well your them best Agata” she tasted the best for one who didn’t have addictive demon blood. Plus she also liked that the wolf would be sick afterwards give the other a reminder of her even when she wasn’t there. “But some are!” She cheeky added following where she was being lead. “I should take that as a compliment but the faces here aren’t much competition honestly” Mei knew she was gorgeous, a given honestly I say where her family had come from.

"Thank you." Agata blushed, happy to be praised by Mei, even if she was a bit nervous about what they would be doing. But in a way she was excited too because it meant that Mei liked her, right? "Some people who come are awfully attractive." Agata certainly wasn't blind "Which makes me wonder why they come." the brunette mused.

"So, from a zero to a ten, how was your booty call?" Lia asked good naturally when Adonis finally returned "Also, congrats on winning Iva"

A mojito bucket uh, must be someone from the clubs nearby, unless she had tried to make one of those at home. But then why would she be out instead of drinking the mojito at home? He looked intensely at her, trying to understand just what she wanted and oh, she kind of seemed familiar? "Babygirl?"

He had slept with the girl, hadn't he? Well, most times he didn't really meet the other person again, didn't really do well with second times. She had been interesting, but he was too drunk to even wonder if it was interesting enough to care to try and get a second lay… Could he even get it up after so much alcohol.

"Did you get kicked out of a bar or like me, made your own?" he gestured to the bottles on the ground before leaning back and closing his eyes "The wold is shitty." he said simply

“Alright. Do what you must,” She giggled, legs dangling off the island. She propped herself up on her elbows, watching Adrian. Man, being a vampire was so much fun. She could feel the warm blood on her neck, and as tempted as she was to just lick it off, she let him proceed. Head tilting, granting him full access to her neck. Her chest lifted, eyes on the bag in his hand still. The decision between blood right now and that little sensation his tongue brought to her body being hard to choose from. She opted for the sensation instead, being full of blood already as it was. She could wait a little longer for it. “Oh you go right ahead. But give me that while you do it,” she reached for the bag, “let me have fun as well.”

"You want my blood bag, uh?" he teased lightly, nose following the curve of her jaw, going up to her ear so he could nibble on her lobe "Such a needy vampire you are, lav." Adrian teased, bringing the bag to his own lips, taking in some blood but not drinking it, instead, he moved forward, pressed his lips against Lavinia's. He let someone of the blood slip, only enough to get her to open her mouth so he could kiss her, share the blood that he had on his mouth. And then he was licking what had escaped their lips, red smeared against her skin and it looked quite beautiful from where he was standing.
