Real flowers make your house feel different. In a great way. And you can find them so cheap sometimes! Kroger has great clearance flowers that still have tons of life in them. And they make great gifts!

Buy baby wipes and keep them with you at all times. They can wipe away messes, clean up simple surfaces, and many many other things. It seems silly but they always come in handy.

An important skill is to give a proper handshake. Make sure you're making eye contact and your grip is firm. NO. LOOSE. HANDSHAKES. Having a firm grip is a show of confidence, even if you have none.

Credit Cards can be such a useful tool if you use them correctly. Use them as if they are cash in your account. Don't use them as an emergency fund. You can build up your credit, get rewards, and cash back. Many useful things to be had if you can use restraint and keep yourself from getting into major debt.

It's important to buy new underwear. And socks. Find sturdy and supportive, socks and underwear for yourself and keep a good supply.

Try to teach yourself, or find someone to teach you how to sew. It is such an invaluable tool. If you repair your clothing you don't have to spend extra money on things that cost literal pennies to fix.

If you're an impulse shopper, don't go to the store without a hard core list and budget that you cannot stray from. I'm speaking to you target shoppers.

Don't go to the grocery store hungry. Eat something, anything 15 - 20 minutes before you go. This is something to master.

Create a bedtime routine for yourself, then whenever it's time for bed your body will accept sleep more easily. Try to limit your screentime and keep what you do very calming. This is especially helpful if you work different hours all the time.

Make goals for yourself. Even if they're small, like wake up early for work, or make dinner meals four times a week. Even if they seem small or insignificant each small step will add up to giant adult leaps.

Make sure you keep all of your bills in one place. And file them somewhere (shoebox, folder, box) and keep them for at least a year. And if you pay one online write "paid" on it. I can't tell you how many times that's saved me from wondering if I've paid a bill or not.

Wash your sheets and pillowcases at least once a month. It's a chore depending on how you have your bed set but it feels so good (and it's so much cleaner) when you're sleeping on fresh sheets and pillowcases.

Find something you enjoy doing and make it a point to do that thing. Even if other people (older than you or not) don't think it's good for you do to. If it's video games, play some video games to destress. Make time for it. It will destress you from your everyday life.

If you give yourself a treat after you do some chores it makes doing the chores much more bearable. Especially if it's a chore you hate.

Don't live out of your means. If you can't afford to eat out, tell your friends. Just say sorry, I can't afford that right now. If they're true friends they should understand.
