I have Crohn's, Crohn's will never have me.

I’m physically and mentally drained. Everyone around me is worried about my health because I look like a pale and thin ghost. The normal “But you don’t look sick!” turned into “OMG you look sooo sick. You need some help asap!!!”. But it’s complicated. I’m already on nearly every possible IBD medication and surgery isn’t an option right now. On top of this my routine CBC came back showing both anemia and low white blood cell count… We’re not sure if it’s because of malnutrition or caused by my medication. I know that I can push through it and that I survived similar situations in the past. It will get better. It just takes so much energy to motivate myself to keep going. But I guess I’m doing a good job even though it’s tough. Just wanted to let you know that. Hope you’re having a good day!
