I was overweight almost all my life. Our family life always revolved around eating. Our mom always poured calories into us.
When I left home at 14, my baby-fat started melting and I stayed lean for 10 years, when I met my future wife and guess, what happened? Re-gained my weight slowly- over decades. I broke slowly all my âstoppersâ
For 176 cm I was 67kg at my favourite lean status. Then, at the end of the uni, i broke the âNo over 70â rule and I stayed around 72 for a while. Then, around 30 I was 75 kg, then our children were born and the scale went up to 78. That is the limit of my normal weight. So I had a dad bod with 80 kgs, officially overweight again. Breaking the âNo over 80â went up to 85- where my wife still said that I look good⊠then came COVID, and soon I was fighting to not to break the âNot over 90â rule⊠then came Oz the great wizard :))))
I tried all weight controls, but what worked for me temporarily, was starving. I made fasts long up to 15 days with only water. I always envied my daughters girlie friends who were tightly controlling their weightâŠ
