ย ย โ I donโt captain a goddamn ship. ย ย ย ย ย ย I pilot a giant robot.ย โ
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "Eh? Ibuki didn't know pirates went to robots! ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Does that mean you fly around looting places?"
"โฆEnoshima sent you here?" She echoed the statement and relaxed her grip on her blade just slightly, allowing the point to move a centimeter further from where the musician stood. A crooked smile stretched upon her visage and she inclined her head interestedly to the side. Tauntingly, she took a few steps closer to the musician, aย ferociousย aura rising into the airย around her presence. Enoshima had sent her out to carry out this particular murder. If she sent Mioda here at the same time, it was only natural that she wanted the kendoka to be witnessed in her crime. Such an action had a clear order tacked onto it. Bringing Mioda downโฆ Perhaps that was her true mission. Unable to laugh naturally, Peko gave a forced laugh that sounded rather eerieโ it was clear now, what she was being asked to do. Despite the fact that she had withdrew her blade only moments earlier, she pointed it back in the other girlโs directionโ the sharp edge dangerously close to the other girlโs neck. "โฆI see. Now everything falls into place. How thoughtful of her, to entrust aย recruitย to me.โ
"Hehโฆ Iโm afraid letting you go is not an option. I serve as Enoshimaโs tool, you see. I erase those that she grows sick ofโฆ those she wishes to see erased." Her eyes reduced to slits, sharp rose quartz contrasting with her eyelashes. "It seems youโre dangerously close to outliving your usefulness to us. If you cannot bring yourself to join, then Iโll have toโฆ ย ehehโฆ What will it be, Mioda? The decision is yours to make. Youโd best treat it delicatelyโฆ for no one escapes me in one piece.โย
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ No, no...she didn't want to die yet it was rising with each moment that the kendoka may very well take her life with blade point against her flesh almost another time. Relief hadn't lasted for long and it only served to make her whimper; she couldn't even bring herself to try talking her way out of this with knowing she won't be able to survive if she were to decide to... rid herself of her presence early because of what she had said. She's going to die here, she's going to die if she turned the offer down and even her close friends would not know or care given she's stood against them by not joining. Cold sweat and fear, her usual energetic behavior fading to just wanting safety not to allow herself to die then with tears slowly streaming down her cheeks. Please, not now, she couldn't die this young! She didn't want to die because of her disagreeing. There isn't anything else she can do, the choice was made for her if she so wished to keep her life and to not take it would be suicidal. Her own life is on the line and Enoshima would want for her to make the 'best' decision possible. Join them and keep going on with her existence. A choice had to be made, no matter how afraid she is of what could happen by joining yet she held no other choice. "I... Ibuki... s-she..." Couldn't even talk properly, she was trying to say that she would join, self preservation taking more control over her than the consequences of the choice she's about to make. "..." Join or die, live or fade, she had to do it upon finally forcing herself to clearly state it aloud. "S... s... she'll join! Please, please don't hurt Ibuki, she just wants to live!" A bit longer before she died possibly by her hand so suddenly at least, may her poor heart and soul be in peace after all this.
From here.
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "I-Ibuki... just was she... she heard something whenever she was going to grab her guitar! Enoshima-chan told her that she left it and she went to grab it before she heard the noises." What did she just step into now? Is this what Junko had wished to talk her into? She only told her that she left her guitar earlier in the music room and this happened?! This can't go in her favor, she's so close to joining them yet at the same time would need a little more of a push to give up and sale her soul. Did someone die? Yes they did, magenta hues were settled silently on the tiles then moving slowly towards the locker. Perhaps this was another way to show her to make the wise choice, give up or die for getting too close to them. She knew Koizumi, Saionji, and Tsumiki were pushing her to just join up yet... her skepticism is nothing unnoticeable as jealous as she is of Enoshima's natural behavior. Even as much as she wanted pain to be unleashed upon others, wanted them to know how she felt how... no, no! Bad, she can't think of that now, she was in a risky situation and this was only going to make it worse. "Can... Ibuki go now?! She won't tell anyone, she promises!" She wouldn't either, part of her felt it was justice anyways someone died after so long of tears and heart ache.

Peko looked away, as though itย physically pained her to see the musician in such a state. Perhaps it came with the incredible sting of guilt that accompanied her own actions. It was an effort akin to crawling out of her own coffinโ fruitless, and yet she tried anyways, her serial killer act was an attempt to execute all of her classmates. While she was conducting all of these actions under the influence of herย perceived lifeโs purpose at the time, it still didnโt change the fact that what she did was incredibly risky and betraying. She was surprised that everyone didnโt turn on her. As though her actions to protect Bocchan were enough to compensate. She herself was a murderer, just like Tsumiki. So she couldnโt particularly say anything at all without coming across as hypocritical or misguided. Not only that, but she had lied to everyone that entire time. About what her purpose was, about the state of her life. It all unfolded during that trial. โBut youโre humanโโ they had tried to combat her claims. But she was a tool. She had been heartless for so many years, incapable of smiling or understanding others. While physically she might not have been a toolโฆ She was cold and blank faced. She was incapable of comforting anyone she was close to and was really only capable of keeping the trust of only a single person.
Contrasting to Mioda, who could unlock just about anyoneโs heart with a smile. And even if she didnโt she would persistently try to helpย those around her with her company and upbeat personality. She could make an outstanding array of expressions that Peko could almost find herself growing jealous of. She had never been able to express herselfโ and yet, Mioda had the courage to be herself, to even tear away from her own band for the sake of pursuing something important to her. And that was incredibly admirable. It would seem impossible to empathize with someone who was so different.
And yet, toย blindly assume that they lacked any similarities at all would be silly. All of them had sided with despairโ they were all hiding inner thoughts and tribulations that marked their downfalls. They had all suffered. So to presume that Mioda could jump back up on her feet effortlessly was ignorant. No matter how painful it was to face, Peko resolved to at least listen, if she had something to say. โIโฆ suppose she did.โ She swallowed, โI have no room to speak on such matters. Iโฆ made several mistakes myself.โ
"โฆTruthfully, Miodaโ I believe I donโt even have to say it aloud that I am not incredibly skilled when it comes to conversation." She sighed, fingertips brushing against the armrest on her wheelchair. Conversation was the only escape she had from her own thoughts, lately. And she couldnโt rise to take her shinai or train anymore. That was all she had done with her life before then, thereforeโฆ She felt like an object. Waiting idly to get better. She had been told that interactions with others might help her shape the framework of her true personality. "โฆHowever, I will listen, if you need to get something off of your mind."
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "..." Without purpose, that's what they were, children without purpose now and expected to try overcoming so much after destroying so much. They were alive again, but the price that came was their free thinking returning to the point her poor heart ached in sorrow. Each of them had something that led to their downfall in the end, that price of which came their despair and want for destruction to come unto others as it did themselves. She's worn out from continuously trying to deal with it, her attempt at believing that she'll get better when she hasn't even made progress towards attempting to socialize with her own murderer. They all were hurt in many ways, their actions and everything had been their own end to what they wished and desired for most within themselves. Similarities were obvious in some ways yet maybe not many that there is more to this lonely punk than meets the eye to others who dare not pay attention. She couldn't even keep her former friends, now she only had two of her closest ones remaining and the third one isn't someone she wanted near at any point soon which is more than understandable given what caused the rift between them both. It's a wonder why she didn't just go to Koizumi about this, they were close, but wouldn't she have an easier time? She didn't know that, she just... wanted someone that would listen and could get in some form why she's tired of lying. It worked well whenever she could first move about but now? Now it got the point she grew tired of forcing a smile for everyone when she couldn't feel happy for a single moment yet. She's still only a child like the others were, not a grown girl who could face the world with that smile everlasting as she wished it to be. There's nothing more that she can do except try to go on. "A... arigatou... Peko-chan." Koizumi might... disagree with her choice of friends yet she really didn't care at this point, one friend she'd make slowly is better than nothing, right? That's a good way of figuring it even if she's trying to pull herself together. It's harder than she liked, to just stop crying like a small child long enough to talk again to her. Things weren't suppose to be this way, they never should have ended like this with her finally having to pause for a moment. Her leg acted out again, ivories gnashed together just as she held tightly with her freed hand upon the stitched area. That's going to make her tears worse which would mean they needed to move this elsewhere, another place in private so not to let anyone else catch her in such a mess. She didn't want to leave at this point yet knew they needed to move their conversation somewhere better so she didn't need to let Tsumiki have to stitch close her thigh again after the last time she did this. Or at the very least if it came to that, she'd probably make someone stay in there again for her own safety with how just seeing her could make the punk enter an anxiety attack and cause more damage to her recovering mind. It isn't like she can just wish it all away like it didn't exist anymore, no matter how much she may want that. All this caused by childish whims, desires, and even them wanting to take their pain out on the world. It's why she gave up trying to forget, she can't bring her memories to fade by force and realized she's going to have nightmares for the rest of her existence just as she slowly made herself up right to wave for the kendoka to follow her. Probably to her home for the time being, she didn't want to be on bed rest again whenever the price of it would be her thinking about things she didn't need to have fueling her insomnia and guilt over what they did for a cult leader that threw them away too. "... Ibuki doesn't even... think she cared about us either..." The cult leader herself, Enoshima Junko that is this time, maybe talking about that would help a little anyways.
How to tell Mioda trusts you, post coma.
"Iโฆ would suppose that we are all having trouble sleeping, Mioda. After everything we didโ and then to experience life on that hellish island. Moving past it will take time." She spoke the words that sheโd been repeating in her own head like a mantra sinceย awakening.ย Bedridden and unable to lift her blade again, it left her with a lot of time to explore the darkest corners of her own mind. Prevailing over it was no simple feat. The only thing that kept her hanging on at that point was Bocchanโs presence. He was her anchorโ her reason to try and get better. No longer a tool to Enoshima and no longer a tool to him, sheโd been suffering something of an identity crisis. Her personality was fractured and blank, in dire need of development. Peko couldnโt overlook the fact that Mioda had her own problems to fixate on upon awakening as well. It was still rather odd to see her in such a strange state. The fact that the musician was portraying this vulnerability towards herโ she wondered what might have brought the other girl to feel as though she could trust her with the inner thoughts she so skillfully hid behind a smile.
"โฆโฆ." She paused reluctantly, tugging at the end of one of her braids as Tsumiki was brought up. It was nearly impossible for her to garner an opinion of any sort on the third trial, considering she had faced her execution just before. Bocchan had explained it, saying that yet another island was discovered. She could remember her heart sinking in those moments. Her final wish having been to try and prevent any more murders from occuring on the island. However, this time things were different. Apparently, there was an โillnessโ that Monokuma unleashed. She didnโt know firsthand how the circumstances unveiled. Based upon the expression on Miodaโs face, the former kendoka knew well enough to tread carefully.
"I wouldโฆ understand, if you arenโt ready to face her." She mentioned somberly, knowing well that she had been found guilty of murder herself. No less, someone who had been classified as one of Miodaโs close friends when they were in school. Peko wasnโt ready to face Koizumiโ and she was certain that Koizumi wouldnโt want to see her quite yet either. That and any triggers of her own death sent her into something of a panic. Not only was her execution painfully damagingโ but it had toyed with her mentally as well. Being used as a puppet, hurting the one person she had sworn to protectโฆ โThere areโฆ not very many people who can face death and reawaken as we have. Itโsโฆย traumatizing.โ
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "... she got Hiyori-chan too..." Which wouldn't be surprising if the maihime decided to avoid her too, then again she did have some form of development before they died too. So vulnerable, she looked about like she had before when things were crashing down upon her. She still had yet to really overcome her dark corners and it wasn't as easy as she would have liked to face them. One could do better yet the other didn't know what she's doing, what she can do to go forward with her facade dropped to the point of showing just a little on how her mental state could be. There's much to deal with, much to over come with magenta hues settling upon her feet. About ready to move only to suddenly wince, pain shot throughout her system most likely off her leg again. Ow... that may be a sign to sit down soon; using that crutch won't be of any help if she tore them open again like last time. Being alone with Tsumiki always triggered her, made her panic, made her just want to leave because she didn't want to be anywhere near her. She nearly would react so violently when she got close enough to her with needle and thread or whatever is needed during the visit to make sure she had a clean bill of health. A moment she didn't need to remember either, hands clenching tightly around her throat, a smile on the face of her murderer as she said they would be joining Enoshima and she was going to make sure they all died together too. Her screams weren't unnoticed nor the crime which had all been... wrong place at the wrong time for poor Saionji. She can't help herself other than to want the thought to stop, stop coming back and stop returning with each vivid part of it causing the punk rocker to hold tighter upon the crutch. Tears were almost falling, because she didn't want this, she never wanted to die in a sense or to even let things get this far along. Happiness and smiling, she wanted that, to truly be happy not watch as the world burned because of her mistakes made. Some part of her called herself a fool; for not wanting to see it happen and not wanting to watch it happen again, it knew she still held in her heart resentment and self loathing more than anything. Something that she can't stop either, even if she wanted to just smile again over nothing. So yeah, it hurt, yeah it made her cry, and... oh she couldn't keep lying to herself either that she needed to forget. Memories would haunt them forever in vivid detail, that's why she cried at this point from anguish and just not understanding why this had to be them. She missed her home, parents, how her life was before they made this stupid mistake of joining a cult leader in her desire of conquest. It hurt since they were used as a means to an end also, weren't they? She only wanted to turn them each into a copy of her, disregarding their arguments and everything, they were only tools to her more than anything. Objects meant to be thrown away, that's what made her cry, made her drop her guard just for now to be vulnerable for a small time. Why would she not? She thought that she found a place to fit in at only for that to be a lie too and it's all simply crashing down upon the punk more than anything she'd like. Not that she would voice it, she didn't need to burden others when she's suppose to help them smile over make them frown about her problems coming out in the open.
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "Eh? Ibuki spies Nanami-chan and Hajime-chan both blushing, are they fixing to do something unsavory?!"
"Ahโฆ well, all right. I suppose I donโt mind so much. There are some mats in the storage closet that we can use to rest on. We may be there for a while."
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "Ibuki is okay with that, she can probably bring her guitar by even if she's wondering what happened. She's just confused is all."

"โฆI believe I might be spending yet another night locked inside the dojo. Feel free to text me if you require my services. Goodnight."
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "... um... Ibuki is going to join you! She doesn't want to stick around this either, Peko-chan."
"Were people singing that obnoxious song from someone who canโt even pronounce japanese correctly?"
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "... let me see what spring is like on Jupiter." She wasn't even paying attention to whatever other songs were going around. Fly me to the moon won out, as much as her English needed... work.
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "... fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars."
Continued from here.
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ She'd understand? It's not just the fact she had a hard time showing such things about herself, it's more that she rarely could bring herself to speak out to others also. She's not vocal of her past because she wanted to forget it and move forward hopefully which had turned into a failure by the time she reached despair with her closest friends and only one of them is someone she won't talk to again. Tsumiki... shuddering, her calloused digits shortly rubbed the side of her neck as if it became a habit. Not like it wouldn't be with how she died in there at her hands. "Ibuki hates sleeping right now, it brings it all back reminding her it's real, it happened, we killed, we hurt, we... sold our souls to Eno... Junko-chan." The hardest part of this was getting use to the idea that they weren't in that large scale cult anymore too. They're free, they don't belong to despair anymore and yet the hardest part of it was moving forward. "That and... Tsumiki-chan is still..." In her mind, she couldn't let go of what happened, what she did to her at that point while under fever. Asphyxiation was not the way she wished to go, she didn't even want to die either only for it to be at the hands of her formerly close friend. Betrayal was certainly heart aching, heart aching enough that she held no desire to remember it either. There's not much else she can say she could do, waking up paralyzed almost made her think the damage had been at the point that Tsumiki took away her ability to move and left her to thoughts she didn't like. Finding out she couldn't do anything made it worse, especially when she was brought in there to exam her... she'd always force herself to move just to cling to whoever came by to make them stay there however much they shouldn't. Now? She could at least move again and do other things, just the main issue was her leg, the stitched together one from their... unfortunate choice.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย โ Well, then Ibukiโs opinions are wrong.โ
โฐไธใฎๅฒฉโฑ "No they're not, Ibuki is wondering if you got lost from your ship."
