Eggsy: I don’t know, rock walls, weapons everywhere, a waterfall for a door. I guess I was just picturing the Batcave…and why do you need a vase filled with lemons?

Merlin: The room needed a pop of color.

The mission had gone tits up so to speak, not that it was his fault per se but Eggsy felt guilt none the less. Sitting in the now empty conference room Eggsy pushed up his glasses rubbing his nose, a headache was starting to form and he wanted nothing more than to go home. The door behind him opened but Eggsy didn’t bother looking up, just pushed his glasses back down looking at the paperwork he was meant to be doing. “I’m not in the mood so can you save the speech for another day?”

“ ‘scuse me sweetheart, i’m willin’ to bet you’re thinkin of someone else.” Nellie said to him with a chuckle as she walked over and sat up on the table beside him 

“You’ll have to excuse me, I was told to wait here while my boss and who i’m assumin’ is your boss chat a little bit about agency relations.” Nellie explained she got the heavy sense that something was wrong there was a weight in the air that she didn’t care for that much

    “This is a fuckin’ mess.” Explosions and gunfire were the theme music of his statement, somehow both distant and too close for comfort at the same time. Eggsy was far enough from the line of fire that he avoided the shock waves of frequently lobbed grenades, but he was close enough that the stench of them burned his nose.

What was worse was Nellie had only just now found the tracker that her father had put in her new bracelet, clever jerk. Nellie had no doubt in her mind that this meant that the other agent here was one of the Statesmen or the Kingsmen coming to look for her (depending on the favor he had called in this time)

“Come with me. Save yourself, you don’t owe these people any more. You’ve given them everything.”
