The struggle of being a farmer on the edge of winter was already taking a toll on Steve, and then his brother, Dustin, wanders off into the forest. A werewolf attack forces them to take refuge in a dangerous kingdom ruled by vampires, King Wayne Munson and his heir, Eddie. They won't let Dustin and Steve leave, but instead welcome them into their royal home and into their lives with open arms. The longer Dustin and Steve stay, the more they feel like their home may not be what they thought it was... but their time is running out.

I know I have shared on here about having to put off writing and drawing due to needing surgery. About a week and a half ago I got my cast off and stitches out and I’ll be starting PT in 4 weeks so I wanted to give my hand something like to help with movement. I’ve been binging Neil Newbon’s play through of BG3. I got inspired by some moments and sketched a couple. It’s nice after 6 months of worsening pain to finally be on the mend.

Hey guys, just another update. I am still working on the next chapter, but I've had to take a pause because life got in the way and now I’m a month in to having pain in my dominant wrist. Once I can use my writing hand again I’ll be binge writing.

It's nearly been a year since Set in stone chapter 1 was posted and is still my highest likes fic. My birthday is the 23rd so I'm going to try and get the next one out before then, the end of July at the latest.

My first official digital art that I’m proud of. Of course, it’s steddie. I try and not base myself on others work which is one of my bad habits, but I want to send a special thank you out to @house-of-the-moving-image for dealing with my constant questions and giving me positive criticism. I promise it won’t be the last you hear from me as I still have a million and one questions.

It’s hard for me to reach out to people to ask questions just cause it’s hard to jump out there and ask, but they were just an all-star giving me tips and such with procreate. I would have probably given up again if they weren’t such a great teacher 😁.

At a pausing point on a drawing I’ve been putting all my free time into, so tomorrow I will start the next chapter of Set in Stone.

Steve getting rushed to the hospital post s4 and he wakes up with Eddie asleep on the chair beside his hospital bed and is so confused bc "sorry but didn't you... die?" But no one else has any idea what hes going on about.

So he assumes he must have been remembering wrong or had a vivid nightmare and accepts that they're all alive, somehow. He sticks to the positives and, well...

Eddie is funny. They get along great and Steve feels drawn to him, in multiple ways. Mostly because he's fun to be around, always manages to lighten Steve's mood, but... theres something else pulling him in too. He just assumes hes thinking too hard.

Until El finally gets there, three months later, and looks between the two of them with a terrified look.

anyway the actual point of fandom is to inspire each other. reading each other's fics and admiring each other's art and saying wow i love this and i feel something and i want to invoke this in other people, i want to write a sentence that feels like a meteor shower, i want to paint a kiss with such tenderness it makes you ache, i want to create something that someone else somewhere will see it and think oh, i need to do that too, right now. i am embracing being a corny cunt on main to say inspiring each other is one of the things humanity is best at and one of the things fandom is built for and i think that's beautiful

I finally figured out how to finish the last bit of my story and all I got to say is I’m excited for you guys to read the last two chapters (I do not have a chapter count just yet so I don’t know when that is). I’m just super stoked to get there.
