So, i think the whole 'getting ready' for a half-demon life would be something like (also it's my interpretation of seeing a half-demon reader!)
It was a normal day for Reader and Beej, they were doing their own things, Beej? Well, Beej was Beej
Things started to change around evening, Beej was too busy with his own stupid shit to notice that Reader saw in her appearance something.. Odd.
Her skin got quite pale, even if she felt normal. Reader was rarely sick so.. That was odd for them.
Beetlejuice finally noticed the changes when his roommate's paleness didn't go away, they weren't sick.. So what was the deal?
Days passed and Reader noticed that weird shape of her teeth, they got quite sharp, and just by this day, Beetlejuice knew what was going on.

The truth was quite hard to accept, but with Beetlejuice's reassuring words and all the things he did to make them comfortable in their half demon skin.. Reader felt a bit better.
Their appearance changed a little bit, not only her skin and teeth, she has some small horns, that could be easily hid with their hair (or not, when ur a boy with very short hair)
They gained small abilities that some demons have, nothing too much, but with the handling.. Yeah, Beej would have to help them - at least a little bit..

Beej got used to their comforting words, and has taken every single one to his heart, his overthinking seemed to calm down almost instantly.

It was another rainy day, another day of slacking off and having fun. Young, only 19 years old {Y/N} {L/N}
Got into their hands an interesting app that had been popular around the whole world. Since they had a day off their job; they decided to check on that. It had just fine reviews for them; so why not give it a try?
Their latest obsession? {if we can call that} was the Film and Musical of Beetlejuice.
Days passed and they got into it, {Y/N} also lived their life. Work, friends, family, they kept their screen time in check. In one practical evening they came to their apartment and as soon they sat on their bed, they took out their phone; opening the app Character.ai
{Y/N} had their favorite bot on the app. Of course it was "Beetlejuice"
It was one of the most visited bot, and it had everything {Y/N} needed.
Long description that helped them understand the whole plot, accurate to the Musical character and most importantly; gives long answers. The whole plot developed in a matter of time. As they chatted, they decided something off with the bot. The bot seemed addressing his words directly to them: not their character.
The bot for the most of the time didn't use the third person, and as said. Instead their characters name, it just wrote "you".
Looking in your eyes, he felt like something caused him to get butterflies in his stomach. Was it your gaze? Was it the soft look and sparkle? He didn't really know what was the reason. But. The one thing he knew - was his love for you.
Reading that type od responses, it made Y/N feel odd, not to mention that some of the responses started with "( )" basically, He said something like he was out of character. They usually swiped for other answers.
The more they wrote together, the more Beetlejuice felt attached to them. You may ask, how could he feel attached to the person he knew nothing about? Not even their looks?
Well.. That's the thing that he knew. He saw their face, every emotion. Happiness, sadness and most importantly.. Boredom.
He could get easily nervous by seeing the boredom on their face. It got worse when he somewhat knew they got new 'obsession' he saw that they rarely typed any details responds

A chilly draft whispered through the stone halls, carrying the faint smell of autumn leaves and earth. Normally, this was your favorite time of night—when everything fell silent, and the world seemed made just for you.
But tonight, there was a dull ache gnawing at the pit of your stomach. The familiar hunger for blood was creeping in, the kind you couldn’t ignore any longer. You usually planned ahead, so you’d have something to satisfy it before the cravings got intense. But lately, you’d been… distracted.

“Well, well! You’ve got that look in your eye. What is it, time for dinner?” He grinned wide, baring his teeth as if daring you to bite. He’d always found the whole “vampire” thing fascinating; you half-wondered if it was because it reminded him of the Neitherworld.
You nodded slowly, shifting closer. “If you don’t mind.”
“Oh, babe, you know I never mind.” He flopped back on the velvet settee, holding his arms out wide as if he were presenting himself to royalty. “Bite me! Go on, let’s make it dramatic!”
You chuckled, sliding next to him. “You never take anything seriously, do you?”
He shrugged. “Hey, if I took everything seriously, I wouldn’t be here, now would I? Besides—” he leaned in, voice dropping to a low rasp—“I know you love it.”
That was enough to make your hunger sharpen, and you leaned in, letting your fingers trace along the collar of his suit. His pulse beat under your touch, a little faster than usual. He might joke all the time, but he could never hide that shiver of excitement whenever you got close.
“Alright, hold still,” you murmured. He didn’t move, his grin widening.
You tilted his head back, baring the pale, almost lifeless skin at his neck. You bit down gently, letting your fangs sink in, and felt him stiffen, a low groan slipping from his lips.
“Holy… jeez, Y/N,” he breathed out. His voice was a mixture of awe and something softer, something almost tender.
The taste of him was familiar, a mix of the Neitherworld’s strange, earthy sweetness and just a hint of iron. It wasn’t like feeding from anyone else; it was distinctly him, and it left you feeling light-headed and exhilarated. You felt his fingers brush along your back, oddly gentle for someone like him, and you let yourself linger a moment longer than necessary.
You finally pulled back, licking the last traces of blood from your lips as he slumped back with a dreamy grin. “Now that’s what I call dinner and a show.”
You laughed, wiping your mouth as you looked at him sprawled out, clearly a little dazed. “You enjoyed that way too much.”
“Who, me?” he gasped, feigning shock. “You know I only did it for you, baby. But if I happen to enjoy it… well, that’s just a bonus.”
