— Robin looked at Chrissy and gave the blonde a small, shy smile. The girl who never seemed to shut up couldn't find words when it came to spending time with the other, and she was sure if Steve could see her now he would never let her live it down.
"So..." she started, trailing off with a flush of her cheeks. "How have you been? You know... since everything."
ROBIN BUCKLEY ☆ CHAPTER ONE: SUZIE, DO YOU COPY?
“Dude, I’ve been here the whole time. This is my house.” Steve was laughing, because it was damn clear that Eddie had had too much to smoke. He found it amusing, and maybe a little curious, because Eddie seemed to be much more of the stoner type than Steve ever was. Steve would smoke with Tommy and Carol, and then lately he had done so on his own to help with the nightmares, but it had never been a daily thing.
“Were you like, dish socializing or something?” He squinted, looking Eddie over a little. The other had clearly been spacing out a bit, and Steve only wished that he could help. He had been there far too many times. These smoke sessions were supposed to help with that, to help clear Eddie’s head and make him feel less alone in what he had experienced, but it seemed like that wasn’t enough sometimes.
“Hey, Munson. Whatever is going through your head, man, I’m here for you. You don’t have to go through this all alone, alright?”
Eddie's nose wrinkled when Steve spoke, knowing the other was right. He wasn't entirely used to smoking with other people; it was, more often than not, something he did on his own in the trailer or in the woods behind the school. A soft laugh bubbled from his lips at the other male's question, shaking his head a little as he reached for the bottle of beer on the coffee table across from him.
"You mean dissociating? Yeah... yeah, I think I was," he admitted with a nod after taking a swig. He let out a shaky sigh as he let his head tip back, gripping the glass firmly in his hand as his knee bounced a little. If there was anyone he could talk to about things that are going on, it would be Steve.
"I know, yeah. I just... I don't know where to start sometimes."

Billy pouts a little at the barb, huffing a little as he shakes his head. He likes having fun with Steve. He was worried at first… that Steve wasn’t going to be able to handle all of him. But he was definitely pleasantly surprised.
“You’re so mean to me sometimes, remind me why I love you again?” He teases softly, sticking his tongue out at Steve. He didn’t realize he’d just told Steve he loved him for the first time.
Steve lets out a soft laugh at Billy's small pout, pausing for a moment when the words that came from the other's lips dawned on him. "'Cause we're soulmates, or something like that," he replies with a small smile and a light blush on his cheeks, closing the distance between them to press his lips to Billy's as he took the box in his hands.
"I love you, too, you know," he murmurs softly, brushing their noses together and not making a big deal out of the admission as he moves onto his knees to get a better view of the present he was being given as he untied the bow painstakingly slowly.

Billy rests his head against Eddie’s shoulder, fingers still in the others hair, swaying with him. The blond’s nails dragging lightly against his scalp as they move together. His heart is hammering with the beat of the drum.
He chuckles softly, feeling Eddie squeezing him in lieu of a verbal reply. He tilts his head up, dragging Eddie’s mouth down to his as he kisses him slowly. The crowd is cheering as the band plays the final song of the show.
Eddie smiles when Billy’s head presses against his shoulder, sighing contently as they moved in time with the music. Everything about this situation was his happy place — while part of him wished it would never end, he also couldn't stop thinking about getting Billy out of here and back into his van.
He hums softly when he feels lips pressed against his own, kissing his boyfriend back slowly as the band moves into their final song. He squeezes the blonde again gently, smiling wider against his lips as he began to hum the words to the somewhat slower song into the kiss.
