There’s one beauty “guru” I watch regularly on Youtube. Her name is Tati Westbrook. One of the things I absolutely LOVE about her videos is that her husband regularly makes cameos and tries out products with her, gives her feedback and opinions when she’s reviewing stuff, and actually DID A SHIT TON OF RESEARCH when they did the “Husband does my makeup” thing. Like, he’ll regularly go “oh, you were wearing that in your other video!” or “I saw that product, can I review it too?” He’s not by any means “into” makeup himself, but he clearly loves her to bits and supports her and encourages her in all her endeavors. I don’t wear make-up myself, but it really hurts my heart when this kind of thing happens in relationships.  My mom started playing WoW just to spend more time with the rest of her family, but my dad wont even go with her to see a movie that she was an extra in.
