A mess of muses

He felt as though he was sinking into quick sand or thick mud. Everything around him suddenly felt rather heavy, as though if he tried to move it would be a real struggle. Confused and rather concerned that he was forgetting something important, his muddled mind fought through the darkness, trying to make sense about what had caused this. 

Was it Venti? Had this been the Archons attempt of escape? He wasn’t even sure if he was pleased at such a thought, but he didn’t have enough time to allow such thoughts to grow. Pain was now taking over, a short groan passing his lips as, with some difficulty, he finally managed to open his eyes, a frown growing as he made out the figure of Venti. Was he crying! Why though? Grey eyes watched the other with slight confusion, though as his senses returned, so did the pain, and soon Venti wasn’t the only one currently crying, despite how much he wished to hold such things back.  He’d protected him. His instant hadn’t been to save himself like it should have been - it was to protect Venti….a small thing like that would be squished to death under so many rocks! But hadn’t he taken him here to hand over to his Master anyways? He closed his eyes and tried to calm down enough to stop the tears from falling, though the pain made that close to impossible. This close to a source of the Abyss he could perhaps heal in time but -  “…what are you doing? You should have used this chance to escape”

Tears kept falling as his fear kept rising. What if he died? What if he had to lose his friend again? Though at hearing his voice he seemed relieved, fighting back the urge to hug him to avoid causing further injuries. Instead he gently took his hand, more and more tears now falling.

‘‘You’re alive! I...I thought I’d lose you again. Ah...I’m sorry that you have to look at me in this body...but I can’t remove the rubble in my true form. I’ll get you out of here, I promise! I’ll take you to the church, they have a really amazing healer! I’m sure she’ll get you better in no time! Just...please don’t die on me...I’m working as fast as I can...I patched you up as best as I could too...s-so please hang on...’’

“Cherry? Sounds good! I’ll take it with an apple. The apples are delicious!”

Toga loved apples. They were sweet, they were sour, and sometimes they tasted nothing. But she liked that too. When she was child, parents bought a lot of apples to her. This is probably the only good memory she has with her parents.

“Hey, Izuku-chan, do you get along with your parents?”

‘‘Ah, my parents? Uhm, I don’t really know anything about my dad but...I get along with my mom! She’s so sweet and nice! She kept supporting my dream to be a hero, even if it scared her.’‘

''Sama-chu? Well, he's super nice to me, and warm! And it's so nice to get to cuddle him after a long day! I love seeing him all soft like that, though I don't mind him angry ether as long as he isn't yelling at me.''

Thinking for a moment, of course a bunch of other reasons came to mind as well.

''Not to mention...Toki-doki really knows how to turn me on~ I just love teasing him in public, knowing he'll pin me down and teach me a lesson when we're all alone again~ I really love having him get all rough with me, it's so nice having him mark me all over~''
