its good. dont get me wrong its good. but its not them. yes finding eachother throughout universes and throughout all of time is wonderful. its perfect. but its without all the history. they dont know. i love chidi and eleanors story because they know the history. they grew from it and chose eachother. all the complexities of their relationship are gone now. yes they have eachother. but. i cant say im not disappointed that it isnt truly them. its just their spirits. in a new world. its good its just not the same. its good. just not the same

good omens 3 spoilers below enter at your peril.

❌ no explicit “I love you.”

❌ no kiss.

❌no 1941 flashback. after the opening scene, no historical flashbacks at all, actually. (no time for it! what existed was so rushed!)

❌ no happy ending for crowley and aziraphale. (anthony and asa are not the ineffable husbands. happy for them tho ig???)

❌ erasing 6,000 years of history. (again: anthony and asa ≠ crowley & aziraphale. they’ve no memory of each other.)

after all that, I wanted to go back and rewatch s2 for comfort, but if you count 3 as canon, they no longer exist, so what comfort is that??

if you enjoyed this, i’m genuinely so happy for you! I, however, am shattered :)

(zero hate directed at any cast or crew. they did the best they could with what they got.)

GO3 SPOILERS!!!

okay, so many mixed emotions on the ending because honestly..it was done so good but this is everything I did not want😭😭

it definitely made sense, because this was all the two wanted but..what the actual fuck

Definitely a bit mad over not having them properly kiss but I’ll take the indirect one.

Genuinely wish they got their happy ending though, because those two at the end were not Aziraphale and Crowley. They didn’t go through 6000 years together, and all that. I wish we got more into what happened at the end of season 2, but 90 minutes and all, so I can’t blame them.

Definitely disappointed, but I can’t honestly be mad. Do I wish it was Crowley and Aziraphale in that cottage? For sure, but am I okay with what we got? Also yes. (Although I am quite distraught.). The marriage was definitely everything to me, though.

I don't careeee about the human versions even if it's in character for those self sacrificing idiots. 6000 years of history gone. They didn't choose to become human, that entire canon got erased.

I'm actually so mad about that wtf. That's not even them at the end, just some doppelgangers. Not even in a "we'll find each other in every universe way". That's not them, that's not the history between them
