I'm recently coming across variable posts about the casting of Nolan's Odyssey and various complaints about it and my honest opinion is: if you aren't Greek,why are you offended? My only problem with Nolan's casting AS A GREEK is that he doesn't have any greek actors or actresses (in the main roles). No I am not bothered that Hellen is black,even though that's not how Homer describes her, I'm not bothered by Athena being half black,even though that's not how Homer describes her. I am bothered by the lack of ACTUAL representation, which is greek representation in a greek epic, taking place in Greek places,with greek characters.
