Jeff was a bit reluctant to ask Lucas to keep him company while he worked on fixing an odd little gadget he found abandoned in the snow, but something inside him wanted a companion to chat with while he worked. Several hours later, Jeff found himself losing focus, vision blurring somewhat. As he blinked his eyes over and over, he felt more and more drowsy. “Hey, Lucas?...” he managed to mumble as he leaned back in his chair.

Books scattered around the table and some on the floor along with a few notes. 3 hours went by and it was taking its toll on Lucas. The blond yawned and leaned back, right into the side of Jeff. “I’m so tired…”

Jeff snorted as Lucas pressed into his side. After sorting his notes into a folder and placing it on top of his books to save desk space, he gave Lucas a pat on the head, running his fingers through his locks. “It’s only a little past midnight, Lucas. Have you never stayed up this late before?”
