Upon the clam willing giving up the pearl to him, Omi understands. Freminet is a protector of these creatures!

When gestured to go to the surface, the Dragon of Water nods to the Cryo user and starts to the surface.

Jack didn't know! He's tried everything! Even confessing his love to Raimundo! Its like nothing works!

There's an expression of realization on Jack's face. He didn't try everything, he just tried everything verbal.

He's been so afraid to get closer to Raimundo after biting him due to the Monkey Staff that he forgot about a few things he could try!

And Raimundo could reallt use ine of these.

Jack moves closely at a calm pace until he's sitting right in front of Raimundo. After a moment he pulls Raimundo into in a gentle hug, being careful of his injured arm.

The way he says it, his tone, the words... It sounds like him! His head! The things he hears in his head!

Especially the last part, reminds him so closely of his old home. Of his father...

"Mistakes get made. So you made one. But he made one too. He shouldn't have punished you for doing what you were taught."

Jack moves his hand back, its rubbing his arm, he's nervous. He clinches onto his arm before starting.

"You shouldn't have been punished for doing exactly what you were taught, even if he said to stay out of sight. The Xiaolin protect life and you cared about Master Fung, he should have seen that as what it was, what you were taught. Instead, he punished you and denied you apprentice rank..."

There's venom in Jack's voice, he has to pause to take a breath as he's shaking slightly.

"He twisted the rules, had hidden ones, just like..." There's a pause to keep on track, to avoid those thoughts, the past.

"He is as much to blame for this mess as you are if you insist on taking blame! He lied and caused you pain, pain you didn't deserve!"

"No one deserves to be alone, sad, and injured all the time! You are the Dragon of Wind, the one who takes life one day at a time, enjoying it to its fullest whether it be getting chores done while still playing around or lounging."

"Or making games while also training, bets too. Or even daring the others to do things! You loved trying to out do Omi's tiger sense, or teaching him new things. You are also brave, protective, caring, despite hiding it. Moving Dojo put of danger, picking Omi up when we found him New York, and more!"

"You didn't deserve what happened to you, and it was cruel! Fate or whatever caused it was cruel! If I could go back in time, I would go back and help you! You don't deserve to suffer alone! You don't deserve to think like that!"

However 'tamed' translated fine. She doesn't seem to like what was said. Her ears are back while she listens to the rest of the conversation.

Betraying the Xiaolin, stealing from them, releasing Wuya and more... All because he wanted to be seen as an equal, wanted his due...

Jack's face softens and he looks sympathetic, gently reaching out and placing a hand on Raimundo's knee.

"You were doing what you thought was right with Mala Mala. We don't know what could have happened if you didn't, or if someone else went."

Jack looks to the side a bit, blushing. "You were very brave, you wanted to protect everyone you cared for, even if the odds were well against you."

He turns to face Raimundo again, to continue. "I didn't think it was right for Master Fung to do that to you."

The hand on his pants clinches into a fist. "You were doing exactly what we were taught to do, you shouldn't have been punished. I am so sorry I didn't say anything when it happened. I... I got scared." The fist unclenches as he looks at the floor.

Back to Raimundo. He looks back to him. "You haven't done anything I haven't done, on a smaller scale... The toaster and blender both had to be replaced and I got sent to extra classes as punishment but while I did have good intentions, my parents didn't see it that way... I maybe didn't take wiring out of the house to make the first maid bot out of spite to show them I could make robots..."

"We have symbiotic relationships back on my planet with other smaller creatures, is that what Nero is referring too?"

"Also you should ask next time, it would be more polite. I am not that concerned about contact since if I get an unwelcomed lick on my mane I can just shift."
