So the duplex my husband and i have been living in for the last couple years just had a 24 hr eviction notice posted on our door, and we have to be out by 2 pm tomorrow.
we might have a place to stay but weβre still waiting to hear back from my husbandβs coworker but itβs looking like we may have to stay in a hotel until we can find more permanent arrangements but that means i have to ask for help again because weβll only have enough to stay in the cheapest place until wednesday, and that still leaves a whole week until my husbandβs next paycheck. we have a dog and three cats to take care of, wherever we do eventually end up weβll only have the bare minimum of essentials because we canβt take what little furniture we have so weβll be starting over with basically a tv and whatever else we can fit inside of trash bags to carry.
i canβt really offer much in return for anything anyone can do to help, except for maybe writing, though that will be slow because the spacebar on my laptop doesnβt work any more and i have to copy and paste spaces when im writing which can get kind of tedious after a while.
anyway, if anyone can send anything to help us out so we donβt end up completely homeless with four animals thatβd super swell
and for anyone doubting the validity of all of this i do have a photo of the notice i can share if its necessary

we still don't have anywhere to go to yet but we only have this hotel room until thursday so if anyone can help out to get us a few more days or even a full week, that'd be great.
we do have a friend with an apartment they moved out of but still have a lease on, but it's $1,000 to get the lease signed over to another person and while we could get that amount in just a couple paychecks, we still need somewhere to stay in the meantime.
