Complete Collection of High Resolution Danganronpa 1 Sprites!!

Last year, in preparation for Danganwrestling 5: Special Edition, I spent an exhaustive amount of time taking screenshots from the Vita version of Danganronpa with a PlayStation TV in order to capture high resolution sprites of the characters. Despite all my hard work, the collection was left incomplete due to the limitations of the process.

But now, with the release of the Steam version of Danganronpa, we’re finally able to get our hands on ALL the higher resolution Vita art assets (as well as a potential modding scene that I’m following closely)! This also means we’ll be able to get at the Danganronpa 2 sprites whenever that hits Steam.

I’ve spent some time putting together all the half-body and full-body sprites from the Steam version and converting them to transparent PNGs. So here it is!

Download and have fun! Go make some sprite edits, make your own fan game, dump them into waifu2x (wish I had known that was a thing last year), or prepare for the inevitable Danganronpa PC mod explosion.
