That’s it. I’ve also heard freeze pops and freezy pops, which are pretty clearly variations on a theme, but they’re freezer pops.

Ok so, ‘freeze pop’, ‘freezie’, ‘freezer pop’ and variations are the generic name for these kinds of frozen tubes of flavoured ice.

“Otter Pop” and “Zooper Dooper” are BRANDS of freeze pop. No one else calls them that, cause that’s the fuckin BRAND NAME and not everyone has that brand. It would be like insisting that all toilet paper was called Charmin b/c it’s the name of ONE brand of it.

Zooper Dooper appears to be an Aussie brand while Otter Pop seems to be found throughout the US. So these names are clearly regional.

Up here in Canada we have Mr. Freeze ‘freezies’. (we have other brands I think but like, i don’t think i’ve ever heard someone say they want a ‘Mr. Freeze’, we call it a freezie)

Also please note, that popsicle is not on the list of generic names for this. Cause it’s not a popsicle. There’s a reason that these, are called fucking popsicle sticks

Cause a popsicle, NEEDS A STICK (or two). If it has no stick and it’s in a tube, it’s a (generically) freeze pop.

(ok, technically ‘Popsicle’ is the name of the specific company/brand, which also makes Creamsicles and Fudgesicles, and the generic name is just 'ice pop’ but no one gives shit and anyways, THEY ALL HAVE STICKS! no stick = not a popsicle), like-
