MURRAY HILL RE: THE SCARLETT JOHANSSON CASTING CONTROVERSY: I've been mentioned in articles and tagged on social media the last 48 hours in reference to the (mis)casting of Scarlett Johansson to star in "Rub & Tug" as Dante "Tex" Gill, a trans man known for running a string of massage parlors that were fronts for prostitution in the 1970s. MY RESPONSE: I have not been contacted by Hollywood casting agents nor director Rupert Sanders to play the role of “TEX” in the upcoming biopic “Rub & Tug.” If ScarJo ends up declining the role, I'm available. I won't need to gain weight, and my look is actually stuck in the ‘70s. I can wear my own suits, and have decades of experience working with scantily clad women in nightclubs. My only scheduling conflict is my daily Zumba class at the YMCA (which I haven't started yet). If Ms. Johansson does play the role of "TEX" as scheduled, I'm 100% available to play her character "Black Widow" in the next Avengers movie. All further questions, to quote Ms. Johansson, “can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman's reps for comment.” Showbiz. P.S.
