Hi Friends, 

Over the past few months I’ve gotten some super letters and really thoughtful asks that I’ve wanted to answer, but honestly, I have been having to put the energy not earmarked for work and commitments into self care,  and it’s not left me the time I’d like to have to answer your thoughtful questions. 

I’m going to have to leave them there for later this summer - but I look forward to digging in, and thinking about your prompts. 

I hope to see you at Tableaux tomorrow, it’s going to be beautiful.

This Tuesday, June 19th, Lot 45 Bushwick and House of Darker present: TABLEAUX, a Monthly Art Salon and Kinky Mixer. 7pm - 11pm This month we celebrate Pride together and we invite ANYONE who is interested to come and sign up to model for a pose or two. Pose by yourself! Pose with a friend or loved one! While you pose feel free to tell us more about what pride means to you- or just sit back and be seen. All volunteer models get a drink ticket! We encourage you to come to Tableaux in whatever makes you feel confident and sexy. Come in your work clothes, it’s ok! Wear your collars and cuffs, but leave your toy bags at home. Tableaux is strictly a mixer and an opportunity for those of all comfort levels to socialize outside of a play environment. We ask that you honor that intention by not engaging in overt scenes. Help us cultivate and normalize a culture of safety and consent by participating in explicit verbal consent with your fellow denizens. We choose themes as fodder to spark conversation with like-minded friends and new acquaintances and to inspire those who wish to draw from life. Left your pens at home? Don’t fret, quills and parchment are available for sale. Don't draw? Join others in a writing exercise, lead by Jack Stratton, aka writingdirty, or just take in the vibe and meet like-minded people. Tableaux is a consent forward environment - Please ask before casual touch, and check in before more. New, curious, or just have a question? Look for a friendly face wearing a red ribbon - who are always happy to meet new faces.

Donate to Lysistrata ABOUT Lysistrata: LysistrataMCCF (https://www.lysistratamccf.org/) is a recently formed mutual care collective and fund based in NYC. Managed by current and former sex workers, the intent of this emergency fund is to support the most vulnerable people in the sex industry and to give the community a place to turn when they are facing hardships. While not a traditional 501c3 org, they offer the direct peer to peer financial support to individuals in immediate need whose livelihoods and physical safety have been directly compromised by the passing of FOSTA/SESTA.
