Lemme Crush on myself. . 9months of carrying a human. I’ve watched and felt as his feet grow, his fingers become. I’ve heard his heartbeat and felt it beat through my belly. I’ve marveled as I saw him do baby yoga in my belly, seeing his little body move from one position to another. He pokes my ribs with his foot now, I also get random punches too. I giggle like a little girl when he does this 🥰. . I miss him and I have yet to meet him. I’m anxious for his arrival because I cannot wait to look into his eyes 🥺 . What an unexpectedly beautiful journey this has been. I have fallen in love over and over everyday. With him and with his Father. I find myself wanting to laugh and cry all at the same time, is this what they call euphoria? I feel blessed, humbled and honored to be chosen for this mammoth lifelong task. . Get here already Vlad. What a year it has been. Gratitude has been the guide. I shot the most amazing work this year, I’m grateful for all the agencies that saw potential and trusted me with their vision, also thank you to all my stylist friends that have recommended me for work, I appreciate you. I made new friends, has the best year friendship wise as I drew closer to existing friends and restored friendships. My friends are amazing humans, I’m truly blessed by your love, patience and understanding. I Love you all so much. My Love and I made a human, the biggest part of my year has been focused on nurturing this amazing miracle growing inside me. I’m overwhelmed with tears knowing that it’s not this easy for everyone, I appreciate this journey even more. He’s funny, and full of personality. I feel his love inside me as our hearts beat as one. I’m grateful to @mr_quinchette for being a champ. We go through so many changes that our partners don’t get to experience, but he’s stayed by my side, supported us, loved me even more than I thought he was capable. I cannot wait to look into my little human’s eyes, to hold him, hear his laugh and laugh at his cries(I’m gonna be that mom 😅) . I’m grateful for amazing health. I’ve had the most painless pregnancy. A few light and normal symptoms, and nothing else. I’m 36weeks pregnant and the most terrible thing happening is heartburn and fatigue. This is such a big deal to me, thank you Lord for good health. My family is excited. My mom and I are closer than we’ve ever been. My sisters are already obsessed with baby Vlad. We are grateful for the gift of new life. Thank you Lord for the roof over our heads, for work and opportunities to work. For money. For friends that become family. For provision and sustenance. Thank you for an amazing year. Flashback to a couple of months ago. When Vlad was just a bump. When I was excited and in denial all at the same time. #MCM my nephew. I remember studying for matric with him on my lap. He’s my first child, my mom’s first grandchild and has been the only boy for the longest time. He’s so happy that a new boy is joining the gang 😅. He’s smart and has a good head on his shoulders despite the challenging life he has had. He wrote his final matric paper a few weeks ago and I have no doubt he has done us proud. He is smart, focused, reads and journals!! It’s so beautiful seeing his EQ radiate. Mother. I’m in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. What a joy it’s been being in my son’s company 24/7. He completely destroyed the myth about boys making you look ugly etc. I’ve gained healthy weight, I haven’t had blood pressure fluctuations, no swollen feet or ankles, my nose has remained the same, my skin is popping, my hair amazing. Hell, my Dr told me in these late stages that he really doesn’t need to see me ever 2nd week as recommended coz there’s absolutely nothing to worry about. He’s even cleared me for natural birth which I’m pretty chuffed about, also very nervous😅. Anyway, I’m just having a very sentimental moment here and counting my blessings. Grateful for good health. Moreover so grateful for the Love and peace this little King has brought into my life. I am so Grateful🙏🏿.
