When mom brain gets the best of you
So I was supposed to start tracking all my food and exercise last week, however I learned that I am not the best at setting goals and achieving them due to my poor time management and mom brain.
I ended up driving to home to get some work in Wednesday morning, didn’t pack any food for myself and didn’t pack the Fitbit charger.
Needless to say I did a ton of running around for work and personal reasons and barley ate a full meal a day. I drank a lot of apple cider and ate munchkins. Super bad for the waist line.. but I was probably burning off more that I ate due to the mentioned running around. Plus I got a nice walk in with one of my best friends.
I am back to our new home and ready to get back to my goals and keeping track of myself. I will post a photo showcasing what I ate today.. not all great choices but it takes time to become perfect.
Thanks for being patient and keeping with me.

The Beginning
Hello All,
Since having my daughter self love and being healthy has been my number one goal, as it probably is for every new parent out there.
Over the past week I have looked up the best ways to reach that goal and have decided that the best option to hold myself accountable for my choices is to post/blog about each day. Each meal I eat, every exercise and even every snack I sneak.
I have struggled with body image issues since I was twelve..TWELVE! No matter what I have weighed over the past fifteen years I have always seen myself as fat and compare myself to every girl that I come into contact with. It’s something I now do subconsciously and wish I could stop but don’t know how (also part of the reason I’m on a quest for self love)
I don’t want my daughter to have the same issues I have, I look at her beautiful smile and never want her to look in the mirror and think she’s ugly, fat, not good enough and another horrible thing I have said to myself.. and continue to say if I’m being honest.
I’ve been with my boyfriend/fiancé/baby daddy now for about three and a half years, he’s seen me at my skinniest {128} and at my biggest {175} (well 199 if you count what I weighed the day my water broke) and he has looked at me the same and loved me the same no matter what. His love and support makes me want to see myself through his eyes.
I used to be obsessed with what the scale said and just wanted to hit my goal number but now I just want to look in the mirror and love what I see back whether that’s five pounds from now or forty.
Well that’s it for now since my daughter is getting hangry and no one wants a cranky baby. But I did create a new Instagram { @seekjoyconstantly }to document my journey so I’m not spamming all my friends on my personal account with my food/workout posts.
