What kind of player are you? Passionately casual.

How far into the story are you now? After starting the game in late June, 2023, I finished the story back in April, 2024... Please block the tag #totk endgame if you wish to filter out any end-game spoilers from this blog.

What is your favourite thing in Tears of the Kingdom? I do have a fondness for the level of freedom that the player is granted while exploring this world, given the fact that Link is able to climb virtually anything and pull out the paraglider anywhere airborne... I also cannot deny my passion for the game's generous fashion aspect and customisability options.

Do you plan on going for 100% completion? I would like to say yes, because the game itself certainly would have been worth it. But seeing as I dislike the shrines and their sometimes extremely tiresome Ultrahand puzzles, I am not going to be putting myself through that... The same goes for the separated Korok quests—I guess because they merely feel like burdensome chores.

What do you think about the game's open world design? I enjoy the open world gameplay quite a lot, as it allows the player to grow with the game through their own unique adventure... Though I am also left wishing the memories would have followed a linear layout, as well as being inaccessible until the sages were gathered...

Which race of people in Hyrule is your favourite? The Rito men are very fine, but I will have to call it a tie with the Zora.
