The idea of gihuns mind turning somebody innocent into the one that he can finally blame for everything, then killing him so he can feel like he’s done something for himself and the people he’s lost. Almost as if he’s trying to imagine he’s finally killing the frontman, but none of it is real, and he doesn’t realise his descent into madness. Until it’s too late. Imagine a couple episodes after he killed daeho, he finds out daeho was unarmed? That he never said anything was gihuns fault? That gihun killed somebody innocent. The exact thing he’s sworn off the entire show, and has even gone out of his way to do the opposite of. Could you imagine somebody that has lost everything in order to save others coming to the realisation that they have just become a murderer?
