What’s the best way to make screen caps or gifs of an episode?

Prior to the Josh stuff coming out, I bought the last 2 seasons of 19 Kids and Counting on Amazon online streaming. To feel less bad about my purchase 3-4 years later, I want to eventually either do screencaps of the episodes or maybe gifs. I’ve consulted Google a bit, but I’m looking for hints/tips/suggestions from all the people who are already super successful at it on here! 😁

I haven’t actually made any gif from streaming videos. I know we’ve talked about recording your screen while steaming episodes but you don’t always end up with the best quality gifs.

I download the episode and use an animated gif app to make my gifs. Also, I am having a hard time finding an app I like with my new iPhone, so I use my old Samsung to create the gifs still!

Hey y’all :) I’m spudandhashbrown and Jessa’s potato-chunk kiddos are my favorite! I’m new to fundie tumblr and just wanted to say hi and let you know a little bit about myself!

I’m a grad student from the American south, a former sometimes-watcher of 19kac, and have been drawn to Duggars/Bates like a moth to a flame for the past few years. I *LOVE* other people’s weddings and babies in general, so…..yeah. My favorite things are random guessing games (engagement/wedding dates, birth date/sex/names - so far I’m 6/7 on sex-guessing for non-Josh&Anna grandDuggars, hehe) and rolling my eyes any time these ridiculous people can’t mind their own damn business. Besides the 2 big TV families, I occasionally snark on the Maxwells, Bontragers, Rodrigui, and Mortons. I made this blog mostly to re-blog things I find amusing for future lols.

There’s a recent video on Jill’s YouTube channel that shows Israel being extremely worried about who is going to wake him up when Derick goes to school since Jill is always sleeping? I’m not sure if you’ve seen the video and I can’t link to it, but it was discussed on Reddit and FJ a few days ago and now that I’ve watched it I’m very concerned about what goes on in that house. Poor Israel seems like he’s overly anxious and neither of his parents recognize it or are able to reassure him.

That’s too bad. I don’t actually have a desktop at the moment, so I was not aware. I wonder if it’s the app I use to make gifs. I could try another app maybe? Does anyone else know why my gifs don’t work on a desktop?
