Always being the one being blamed when a game is lost but almost never celebrated when a game is won

Having to wear yellow and blinding neon colours

Taking risks and sacrificing their health for a save

Having to be focused 100% all the time

Being beautiful men and women and people in between

taking care of the opponent when they missed the goal by patting their head or simply helping them up

Being so Damn underrated

Being judged by a single performance

having their mistakes pointed out to them again and again

Knowing that they’ll always be under appreciated and still wanting to be a goalkeeper
