Taylor's twist out today initially didn't meet her approval... I'm not sure what the expectation was, but after her sisters, dad and I told her how beautiful she looked, and I added her favorite headband, we got the first smile. I had to remind her that beautiful hair comes in all textures, lengths and styles. I told her straight hair was beautiful AS WELL but was not the only beautiful hair. A few weeks ago Taylor did a thing....they had a K-2 sight word challenge with sight words from Pre-k to 4th grade.
