I think everyone is a little different when it comes to outlining methods, so I can’t guarantee that my method will vibe with you, but of course I’m happy to share :) With long fics especially, I find it essential to first decide your beginning and end points. How do you want the story to start and how do you want it to conclude? Once you have that figured out, it becomes a bit easier to fill in the middle part -- how do these characters get from point A to point Z? What struggles and/or situations do they go through? How do they develop, grow, etc? It’s normal for an outline to go through many, many edits and changes, so come up with as many ideas as you want and then see what progression of events feels the most natural to you. There’s no right or wrong way to do it! So don’t worry about messing up :)  

Sorry this isn’t helpful at all sdgfhfsj. If you feel like you need some inspo, reading/watching/listening to something usually helps me. But if you’re just feeling burnt out, you’ll get over it with time. Your brain might just need a break to recharge.
