Atlanta native Mr. 285 was born in a city where artists thrive to expose their various musical talents, 285's rap career was destined at a young age as he began writing and performing while still in grade school. Since the age of twelve, 285 has proved to audiences across the country that he is a force to be reckoned with. Whether performing as a solo artist with hits like, "Outta here", being a hype man and crowd pleaser for Citty, formerly of Atlanta's own Da Alliance , or promoting his own label, Kuntry Klub, 285 has inevitably made an astounding name for himself. In 2001, he opened for hip hop artist JT Money, still enrolled in high school, yet totally committed to his musical success. Since then, 285 has opened up for and performed alongside D4L, for a charitable event sponsored by by Hosea Feed the Hungry. " Its for my little boys and girls, keep ya head up;" lyrics from his song "Missin You", echoed in the hearts and minds of this audience and remains positive motivation for his own personal success. This performance furthered his career as he went on to open up for Three 6 Mafia and has recently become affiliated with AWall of Slip N Slide Records. Currently, 285 is promoting his hot single, "Awesome!" and working on the release of his debut album. His new recording label Kuntry Klub is sure to reveal his many successes as a rap artist, entertainer, promoter, entrepreneur, and an overall asset to the music industry.
