Rest if you need it, recharging is important.

Eat a little something if your tummy can handle it.

Get some sleep if you can, and if not, curl up with a movie or audiobook (or silence) and rest your eyes.

Btw if ur scared to go to build a bear bc you think the workers will judge you. Don't be. I went to the Cedar Point Build a Bear wearing shorts, a kids shirt, and bouncing around with my caregiver and I am 100% everyone there knew I was some kind of regressor and the workers were not only very nice about it, they also even treated me smaller. For all the other adults the ceremony only did like one or two things to avoid embarrassing them or whatever but for me they did everything. They did the whole nine. Absolutely incredible 100% would recommend they even helped me pick out my bear's clothes and one of them was also a regressor I'm p sure

→ a very quite regressor, it’s one of his biggest tells for when he’s feeling small. talking starts to feel like way too much of an effort and he resorts to mostly just nodding or shaking his head to whatever people are saying. It’s given him away to the others way too often

→ he absolutely loves movies when he’s regressed, someone could post anything on the tv and he’d end up watching it mindlessly, if it doesn’t send him to sleep it is. (the others have worked out to just stick a movie on if he is refusing to sleep, and take bets on how far through the movie he’ll get)

→ eliot doesn’t like complex foods whenever he gets like that. big him absolutely loves combing flavour combinations and textures; small him would compare that to being tortured overseas. nuggets, and fruit are very popular items in his house.

→ almost entirely an involuntary regressor, it usually hits him when he’s suffering from a horrible adrenaline crash after he’s pushed it off too long, or simply just from being overwhelmed. occasionally it’s because he’s gotten relaxed enough around the team, although he’d never admit it.

→ chews the hell out of whatever is around him, usually hoodie sleeves, his fingers and pens; although he would violently deny it till his dying day. they eventually invest in chewlery, and it is a much favoured item of his.

→ it’s never something they officially put a name to, although sophie and nate put an extensive about of research into it in bursts, even as they learn as they go. it’s just something that is sometimes.

→ board games and movie nights are a big thing they try and do sometimes, even as some of them still deny wanting to do such ‘family events’. board games always end up interesting when none of them are what can be called a good loser, or tolerant winner.

→ they never try and assign ages to anything, not wanting to complicate things into being uncomfortable; but there is still that established dynamic. nate and sophie take great delight in looking after their brats, sophie and eliot take turns being the smallest between them, and hardison gloats endlessly about being older than them both. it usually gets him kicked.

→ despite not having an established guideline and set way everything plays out, nate and sophie did come up with a set of loose, yet enforced rules for whenever any of them were feeling small; to drink enough water and eat enough food, get a decent amount of sleep, and that they’ll say something if they start feeling small during a con. it annoys the trio endlessly that they exist; even if the care is secretly nice
