Little Strawberry Crepe Headcanons !!
β I think they'd have a lot of trouble regulating their emotions and would easily throw tantrums !!
β Because they're so used to being alone and doing stuff independently, I feel like they would struggle a lot at first with the idea of a caregiver or being taken care of for once !!
β I think they'd make their own tiny wafflebot as a playmate rather than another cookie !! Practice makes perfect... (sneaking my autistic strawberry crepe headcanon)
β I feel like they'd regress somewhere around 3 years old !! Possibly younger if they're really stressed, but that's their baseline !
β They prefer playing alone and struggle with stuff that is deemed 'typical.' They much rather prefer to play by stacking toys in a line or organizing stuff by color or size !!
β I think they would love being around animals such as the cream sheep in the Pure Vanilla Kingdom !! They're great to chat too and also very soft for nap time!!!

Communication shutdown = temporary inability to communicate or understand communication at all, temporarily cannot write, type, speak, or physically communicate.
Verbal shutdown = temporarily can't talk verbally/it's hard to talk verbally, could still write or type or physically communicate
Nonverbal = can't talk verbally ever, could still write or type or physically communicate
Non-communicative = cannot understand any communication ever. Cannot write, type, speak, or physically communicate. (There is a "refuses to" version of this but that sure sounds awful to imply, that version probably means something else.)
Terms being used correctly is very important for getting your needs taken care of without stepping on those who fall under a different term.
NOTE: I am not good at language and English is not my first language. I have aphasia. If someone has a better way to describe these terms, please reblog to make it more clear <3 GOOD FAITH responses only.

i see so many of you talk about "nonverbal regression", how you "go nonverbal" when you regress, etc..
actual nonverbal people have asked us plenty of times to stop taking their terms, yet i still see this disappointingly often. you are not "going nonverbal" when you regress, you are having a verbal shutdown, and to say the former is appropriation of terminology that does not belong or apply to us.
i understand many of you just aren't aware, but after reading this, please make an effort to change your wording and be respectful towards nonverbal people π§‘
