I get asked a lot if people can draw my ocs. YES! I usually draw something back if I have the chance too (no promises). I do ask that you do not whitewash my OC's, especially Mzamaki. It's incredibly awkward as it has happened way too many times for me to be comfortable with. His coloration is based on what I think is most aesthetically pleasing, and very intentional. It kills my excitement to see a free work of art get it wrong, and y'know. I can't really complain because it's free, so it just sucks... I don't believe it's an intentional message of whiteness being better, I will always give the benefit of the doubt. I strongly don't like it though

Does anyone have good show recommendations? Ones without the warcrime predator creators preferably please. I don't really care for overly sexual things but homoeroticism is neat when done right. Not really interested on stuff that comments on masculinity, thats stuff has been so overdone and yet no one seems to pick up on it being a central theme of those shows.
I really enjoyed The Bear, The Orville, Bob hearts Abishola, Abbot Elementary, Miraculous ladybug (I KNOW), Futurama. Ive watched all Gordon Ramsay slop. Scott Pilgrim takes off was great too! Kevin can go fuck himself is amazing but hard to watch.
I liked Community and Merlin. Early Supernatural was good. Ghosts was good! Dragon Ball Z, ofc, and GT.
I didn't much care for the digital circus, thought it was visually and idea wise very neat but it missed a lot of writing beats for me. Didn't care for Bridgeton but my mom's dog loves it.
I fucking hated The Good Place after the reveal. Just cant get it up for it. Didn't really like Wednesday as a adams family spinoff for its character assassination but it was okay as its own thing. I hate family guy. Seth mcfarland deserves to be stuck in family guy purgatory for his sins.
Hoarders and 600 pound life by TLC is interesting but made me sad in the way that's not cool. I think it's also very ableist at times to be showing these peoples worst moments off without repercussions. I love trash TV but its trash for a reason.
I watch its always sunny in Philadelphia when I need to be punished. I'm only halfway through so I won't need a punishment show for a while, but if you have a suggestion I guess let me know?
Im not really into mainstream superheroes or villains but if you give me a good pitch I may consider it.
General themes I like are fantasy, futurism, sci-fi, slice of life with just that extra push of something to keep going. Love things that are allegories for oppression while still being whimsical. Love the exploration of romance without it being inherently sexual.
Dubs are preferred because I occupy myself while I watch these. I do not care about lip syncing being good at all!
I don't need shows that have a long run time, one season is good too. Like yeah I will be so sad when its done if its good but likeeee yknow.

Instagram is actually unusable garbage. Like I know I'm behind on the SM game because after getting my certifications and learning more about it I decided that its genuinely such a poisonous feedback loop for the human brain, but damn, you think you'd be able to sort tags by latest. I will do a month run of it before deciding to drop it or not. I predict because of the way the modern algorithm works that you have to get very lucky to blow up. They have created a problem in their vacuum that requires you to pay them to break the first barrier.
Twitter and bluesky algorithm wise work practically the same. unless you're posting porn i don't think it's a good time sink. Bluesky is like. Eviler linkedin essentially.
Cara however is very nice but the attention economy is treated as scarce by other artists. If you're looking to start garnering attention on that platform you need to actually engage with other artists and comment on art. Which genuinely does make it a better sm experience. I do approve of this as being a constructive use of your time. Tumblr also works similarly in this way.
Artfol also faces this attention gatekeeping along with bad design. Theres also a commission tab but... its a community completely for artists.... so of course getting work is going to be scarcer. Very low payoff for the effort you'd need to put in to get anything out of it.
