Nope! Felix was definitely not someone to worry about. Technically, he could be--oh sure, he definitely COULD be, the potential was there, yes, that this lucky little shit could get away with anything with so very little repercussions IF ANY...but that wasn't the type of person Felix was. Not at all! He was just a bundle of happy cat energy most of the time--which was fitting, considering this woman appeared to literally be a cat...not that he knew that (yet), he just thought she looked cool with her own sense of style (however hyper realistic it was).
"Nice to meet ya in person," he countered with a bright, dimpled grin. His hyena-like chuckle followed softly after when she mentioned the dilemma with ordering from the app. "Dude, I totally get it. One time, I thought I put in one, but I actually typed in ten, and I was, like, eating nothing but pad thai for, like, five days. Which, you know, is actually pretty impressive it lasted as long as it did."
His compliment had been--at least he thought--genuine; whether she believed his sincerity or not was left up to her, but he did mean it. No, it wasn't a typical thing to compliment but, well, in his world it kinda was. When he was welcomed in with a wave, he did pause a bit after closing the door behind him. It was his turn to tilt his head then. "Wait...what?" he echoed as he started to remove his shoes to leave them at the door (habits, not just from a love of Japanese culture, but of a mother who INSISTED his hyperactive self not track dirt through the house). "You were...legit born with cat ears..." he blinked, eyes widening a bit as he noticed the TAIL, too. "And a tail," he added with an astonished point, which he quickly lowered because, damnit Felix, pointing is rude! Right, he was on an island full of demigods and each had their own quirks--maybe hers was being born a literal cat girl. "That is so cool," he said honestly as he left his shoes near the door and followed her further inside to look over the spread.
"Hell yeah, smorgasbord, thanks~" he cooed as he made himself comfortable, looking around the very much not yet unpacked space. "Sooooo just movin' in, huh? Need some help with, like, shelves and stuff? Cuz, I mean, I'm not pro, but I did just install a buuuuunch at my arcade, so I might as well be a master at this point."
Felix did quite make the demigoddess curious. She could not dislike his cheerful personality. Even if she had been quite sheltered and those who surrounded her never seemed to have such joy, it was pleasant, especially as it seemed genuine. For a demigoddess who valued first impressions highly, Felix seemed to be handling himself quite well, despite not knowing her scrutiny.
"Yeah.. I definitely will not be eating this for that long. But, if you like it, you can take all the food you want home." It was a fair bargain after all. Plus, she really did not want to waste the food despite being completely unwilling to eat leftovers. The feline was rather picky, and she had absolutely no true shame in acting this way. Eloise was a rather spoiled woman.
When he asked her question, Eloise then understood him. He must have thought them to be fake, a mere accessory. However, these were just her ears, and a compliment on them, that had been why it had been so odd. She wondered how rare someone like her was, especially with such a reaction and point from him. "I--.. Yes." She responded, a bit plainly. Eloise had to remember that this might be a first for him, and he had been kind enough to come help her. "And claws." She states, flashing her sharpened yet manicured nails at him. Most would believed they were shaped that way, but all she had ever needed was the paint on top. Moving to settle down with Marie, she turned her attention to him again. "Did they not look real?"
Watching him sit, she had poked opened container, and Marie, who had appeared to lay on her owners lap, scurried away at the sound. Clicking her tongue, the demigoddess moved to grab a bite. However, her brows raised at his offer. Impressed again, she was pleased she had not even needed to ask for help. "Yeah. New to the island. I do have some stuff you can hang up if you want to." She states nonchalantly. "I'm not strong enough.. And, I hit my finger earlier."
