A little fun fact for you all: MPS animals are prone to shivering. Their bodies can become so thin and frail that it’s difficult to keep warm, so it is important to snuggle blankets around them!

The answer to yesterday’s #trivia question is - HORUS! That lil’ tongue belong to the hazelnut himself!

Horus lived to the age of 4-ish. He was rescued by his mama and even the rescue wasn’t sure of his actual age. MPS can make animals look older than they actually are, and that is due to their damaged cells that won’t break down

Happy Monday! We hope you had a great day! Lets start off with a fact about MPS and how it affects puppies.

Newborn puppies may not show any sign of the disease right away, but as the cells become damaged from not being able to get rid of the old mucopolysaccharides, symptoms start to appear. It causes spinal and skeletal deformities that can result in cracked and deformed vertebrae, facial deformities and neurological issues.
