My friend has a personality that is every changing, continually shifting from throughout the spectrum. These prints were inspired by her energy and the way she expresses herself.

These movement pieces were created with a partner, having that person draw with their eyes closed, to a piece of music that they are strongly connected to. I then took the pieces to a print shop, and following their line work while also listening to the same piece of music, I did a monotype print overtop their drawing to create a collaborated interpretation of the piece of music. This series is an ongoing practice for me that mixes two of my favorite methods of communication; music and illustration.
