It’s kinda silly, but I had a very religious upbringing and was taught I’d live for eternity and that I must devote my life to god in order to gain a spot in heaven - which sounded like absolute purgatory to my child self. After learning a little more about what the TPC creator has done or gets up to, I definitely tried to cut inspiration from it a little, but I'll admit that I really like the series. Cool characters, cool ideas, good animation, and I thought it was awesome that a little fandom got a whole animated AU that's become so big. I still draw and enjoy the characters despite the controversy.

My biggest connection in my Data Mind AU to TPC is Cyanide. Getting rid of her would cut any direct ties to the series, though there's still a lot of heavy inspired parts.
