small statement maybe more for myself but probably extends to others. artists dont like when you compare their fanart or oc art to other characters, its disheartening. you have every right to do that out of artist-eye/ear-shot but artists read their tags, their replies etc and its baffling some people dont realize that! they see everything you reply or tag! i know most people dont think about it when they do it but its not something an artist who worked very hard on an original work of a character wants to hear, imo!!

Waiiitt i got a story for this one. Two years!!! (Or more) of people intensely comparing me to this artist; Complaining about it with me by DMs, thinking I was her, a couple death threats and even getting into in real life too. Until it got to work and I had to stop being a baby, I swallowed all the nervousness of socializing with my mutuals, and informed the artist about it. They were unbelievably kind and understanding, I had been struggling for my own stupidity of trying to ignore a thing that went on daily at a point. (T_T

They told their audience very directly to stop it and this was one of the last ones i got before that. It frustrated me back then but now it makes me laugh how lazy it is, my watermark is right there miss!

Btw I know it’s because of the dot eyes, but have people not read The Little Prince, hello?? Anyway, please don’t compare artists (u.u it is not kind to either party!
