I love when players use shared spaces in creative ways.
You can find amazing sculptures, funny little setups, OOB exits, and cozy rooms decorated with plushies. There are so many I forgot to take screenshots of, even though they made me smile… here are a few that I really loved and managed to capture:
It’s not easy when you don’t have many items yet to build something like this. I didn’t get many reactions to my own shared spaces at first. But once, I had a huge success — and it came from something truly heartfelt.
When I first returned from Eden, Hopeful Steward was waiting for me at the entrance of Aviary Village. But from the second time on, no one was there anymore. That felt a little sad. It inspired me to build something at the return point.
I created a small welcoming gate for players returning from Eden. It was very minimal — I only had the default items — but I wrote a kind message. I think it touched a lot of people.
“Thank you so much!” they wrote, in about 10 different languages.
“It’s so good to be back! I haven’t played Sky in so long.”
“Eden was incredibly hard… but it feels so good to be back here.”
Those messages made me really happy — I even received hearts! (I didn’t even know that was possible.) I felt like I could give something to others, even with the simplest tools. That feeling was amazing.
Unfortunately, my later shared spaces didn’t really reach people. I built a place for remembrance in the Vault, and a celebration space in the Valley. I think it works best if you place a shared space somewhere players would naturally stop anyway. I’ll keep experimenting.
Of course, I’m always happy to hear any suggestions :)
Take a moment to look up at the sky before you step through the gate.
It wasn’t easy to take good screenshots of the manatee in Alice’s room… but I’m glad I found it.
Yes, sometimes you sink — even because of things that seem small. Or you just don’t have the energy to be around others. You’re tired. Tense. You need time to think.
But tomorrow is a new day!
Yes, I'll do my best tomorrow. 🦭
It’s hard when two friends live in very different time zones. Once, I happened to play early in the morning, and that’s how I became friends with A. I was really looking forward to playing together again, but she didn’t show up for a long time.
One day, all of my offline friends were busy, and I was alone at home. I wanted to celebrate a small personal success, so I walked to a nearby gamer bar and sat down at the last free table. It was very crowded, everyone was having a great time. Then suddenly, my phone notified me: “A. lit your candle!”
I quickly logged in, and we finally met again! I laughed a lot, and I didn’t feel lonely anymore. I spent my “celebration” evening with A. in Sky!
I never thought that after turning thirty I would discover how much an online friendship can mean. I’m looking forward to our next meetings 🥰

Sooo
My new self is the Mysterious Raccoon Wizard Lady who loves discovering new hidden places and sometimes shows up when moths need help! If you light a candle and honk maybe you can summon her. Favourite places are the Wasteland and the Vault. She has a good will but also love to stay mysterious.
What is my inner child like, based on Sky?
Have you ever thought about what it says about you, the way you start behaving like a child again in Sky?
I know that for many people it’s a dress-up game, and yes, I also love new cosmetics (though I’m not too obsessed with them—I only get the ones I really, really like). But it’s also very interesting how people behave even during something like a candle run. What kind of stance and voice do they choose? How do they relate to other players? These are the kinds of things I’ve been thinking about…
From the very first moment, the Polite Scholar stance felt like it was mine. My character is a polite little girl who likes to fool around, but isn’t always the center of attention. She always wants to help everyone—whether someone is attacked by a krill, trying to open a door, or a desperate moth appears in the Wasteland… Sometimes this helpfulness might even be excessive. I feel bad if I don’t help, but sometimes I see that people manage just fine without me, and then I ask myself—why is this so important to me?
It also surprises me that I really enjoy putting together outfits like a little fairy/princess/ballet dancer/angel, even though in real life I’m not that girly. It seems there’s a little girl inside me whose very first instinct was to buy the Compassionate Cellist headpiece…
And of course, I absolutely love any interaction with light creatures. I think loving animals is such a central childhood experience (really—if you know any small children, ask them their favorite animal, they’ll definitely have a clear answer!), so I kind of wish there were more interactions with them. Riding on the back of a manta is one of my favorites (and I always free them from darkness in the forest), but my absolute favorite is the baby manatee. It was like this even before the Two Embers. ❤️
As a child, I always loved sad stories (in fact, I wrote quite a few myself), so the world of Sky and the collaboration seasons really resonate with me deeply. They bring back a piece of that old self and, for a little while each day, help me forget the problems of adult life.
We are so small.
My first and best Wasteland equipment💪
When I was still very new, for some reason—maybe I was still looking for spirits—I ventured into Wasteland. Of course, I really didn’t feel comfortable there at the time… the moment I saw two players, I immediately ran over to them. Being alone there felt incredibly oppressive.
(I always recall this feeling whenever a moth asks for help… many of us were scared and lost there in the beginning. They deserve help and support too!)
One of them was a chibi player, and the other was tall—taller than my default-sized character. They were dressed in a very “motherly” way. They were kind and took me up to the high winged light at the Broken Temple.
Then suddenly, a tea set appeared. I had never seen anything like it before. It seemed so practical—that you could place it anywhere and talk to anyone! Later, when I found it in the Repository of Refugees, I almost immediately bought it. I remembered this moment, how these two kind players had helped me, and I wanted to help others too.
Since then, I never go to Wasteland without my tea set!
(Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of those helpful players, because back then I hadn’t even thought about doing something like that…)

Goofing around while waiting for tasty buns from Granma❤️ Later we became friends! I'm so happy to meet here good people 🫶 *high five offering pose*
We found this cool shared space at the Wasteland lobby.
Someone did an amazing job decorating the empty room! It felt like we were in a real living room. We watched the ending of the Two Embers Part 1 movie, which moved me to tears again. Thank you, kind stranger — I sent you a heart 🩷
Let the sunshine in 🌅
Similar things happening on another server ☺️🌌 We had a lovely concert with nice people. I just love to stop and watch the scene for a while, and then something happens, people make music and connections, chillin' together. 🎹🎶💙
Take me home, home where I beloooong~

What kind of place is the Wind Path?
It’s one of my favorite locations in the world of Sky, so I often spend time here. It feels like a world between worlds — vibrant, alive, almost mystical and dreamlike. The rich wildlife gives it a sense of untouched serenity. You can encounter butterflies of every color here, as if they have arrived from all the different realms.
This space, filled with the movement of travelers passing through, may also have functioned as a sacred site — there are several places at higher elevations that seem to suggest this. At the same time, it holds a wide variety of rooms and spaces. There are multiple dwellings that may have served everyday life, which suggests that people likely lived here as well.
We can also find various workshops: Prairie-style light-carrying vessels appear here too, along with their characteristic docks, and tools that were likely used to work with light. The strong presence of wind helped those who lived here travel quickly across great distances. The massive rocks were shaped by the wind, but the people of the Wind Path learned to navigate the routes within the clouds — and perhaps, over time, they even shaped them.
With their distinctive guiding pillars, they helped both themselves and passing travelers find their way. It’s possible they even offered shelter to those passing through.
They were likely known for their rich cultural and commercial life. It seems they formed a somewhat separate colony from the other peoples of Sky, with their own unique religious and cultural traits. The ships and docks mentioned earlier might even suggest that the first settlers came from the people of the Prairie...
Were they exiles, who built something new and carved out an important place for themselves in this world? Or resourceful traders, who recognized the opportunity in this wind-swept place? Or perhaps a religious minority who peacefully left the Prairie to find a home of their own?
Either way, even in the age of Sky kids, the Wind Path still radiates the colorful presence of all the peoples who once passed through here — an active yet communal way of life, a sacred respect for nature, and the excitement of travel.
Maybe that’s why I love it so much.
Strange things in Wasteland I witnessed
Nothing special, just a krill coming out of the wall...
New nightmare unlocked! You're welcome!
Another time I saw one of them patroling this high...
What the hell is going on here?!
But I experienced something less nightmare-ish one day: the Broken Temple krill left the manta alive!!
