god israel's destruction of tyre is like especially depressing tbh like thats one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. people have lived there since the bronze age. there is so, so so much history and world heritage there that's being blown up and destroyed forever because its existence doesn't fit israel's nationalist vision of history.

To add onto this, archaeology has been a tool for colonialism since it‘s foundation, and Palestine is only one example of this. Even now so called „Archaeologists“ claim Palestinian land and occupy it for „excavation projects“, which is nothing but land and cultural theft. A very notorious example of this specifically for Palestine and the Levantine region is so called „Biblical Archaeology“.

Fadel's project was about creating an integrated system for managing the water desalination plant in Gaza electronically. This is an incredibly important project, because Israel has systematically destroyed Gaza's water treatment infrastructure, blocked repairs in countless ways, and targeted workers. It is extremely brave to be working on this project. Please donate so that Fadel can one day lend his skill to rebuilding Gaza. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

While Fadel shared this happy news with friends, he was interrupted by Israeli helicopters bombing nearby. There were four strikes on Gaza City last night and at least ten people were martyred.
