when dark s2e5 ended with Adam saying some shit to Jonas like "I'm sending you back to finally break the cycle" and the title of s2e6 is simply "An Endless Cycle" I knew it was over for those hoes

And, the thing is, digging up and opening barrels marked as nuclear waste— when the powerplant owner that has been illegally hiding these barrels seems like he’s probably a murderer, and when absolutely nobody in the whole town seems willing to tell you anything about the six unsolved disappearances they seem uninterested in investigating— ISN’T an unreasonable thing to do. Aleksander himself says that concrete pool is more radioactive than the barrels themselves are, so that’s not even an excuse. It makes perfect sense for there to be bodies in those barrels! And the DARK writers could very well have had W. Clausen be motivated by reason, or at least have him try to explain any of this to anybody, before he opened those barrels and ended the world— but instead they decided to make him an intolerable asshole that everyone hates who constantly fixates on the most irrelevant, stupid shit possible and who makes everyone drive him around. I love this show.

The best thing about Dark is that the kids in Winden are constantly going missing, but all the parents are still like. I don't care you have to go to school through the dark creepy forest, hop on your little bike and start pedaling because mommy sure as hell is not gonna give you a lift!

the awesome thing about the Netflix show Dark is that it truly does not for one fucking second hold your hand. Oh you were looking away from the screen for two frames? Well this guy is the same person as this guy and also his own uncle and you just missed that. Fuck you. Every plot point matters and there will be a test. Take notes or die idc this is what it takes to view masterful television. The not so awesome thing about Dark is that because it’s such a cohesive and tightly wrapped story, if you’re like me and you’ve watched the first season a few times, the second season once, and never have time for the third, you’re going to have to start all over from the beginning AGAIN when you want to rewatch because otherwise you won’t be able to keep the characters straight and miss all of the plot. Even though you’ve watched the first few episodes, like, a lot.
