how long has it been since he’s SLEPT ? he doesn’t know. he can’t remember. all he knows is that he’s got a good eight hours before he goes in for his next shift ---- and that courfeyrac is quite possibly the single most ATTRACTIVE human being he’s ever seen in his life. especially now, when he’s just rolling out of bed shirtless with his hair a mess.      the sound of the bedroom door opening has alarmbells ringing in his      head, the weight of the engagement ring’s box suddenly a MILLION times      heavier as he almost dives into the wardrobe. shoving the box amongst      his jumpers, he’s quick to spin on his heels and slam the doors shut before      he greets his boyfriend, albeit a little BREATHLESSLY.

   he was LUCKY  today ;  he’d expected to be working late, to not actually see    his boyfriend until the next morning ... which was frustrating for just one reason    in particular. ( little does courfeyrac know, there’s an engagement ring crammed    in the drawer of combeferre’s bedside table, too. )
